(no subject)
heyyyy! it's been quite a while since I've posted on livejournal, so I thought now would be a good time.
lots has happened since last time I wrote in this... like:
-me & Matt went to the Ben Harper concert & it was obviously wonderful!
-the next day we went to the Auburn/LSU game & it was AMAZING! then kenny irons, yes... KENNY IRONS, had his birthday party at my bro's frat house that night! it was very kickass!
-we also went to see Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers & it was so very amazing!!!!!! stevie nix was there & Matt was like going crazy about that. but either way that was one of the (if not THE) best concerts I've ever been to! & that's pretty exciting!
-the night of the Tom Petty concert Matt & I went & hung out in downtown ATL randomly from about 12 to 2 am or something like that... we're pretty crazy & I love it!!
(by the way, I have a very bad memory... so I'm gonna leave a whole lot out)
-there is drinking involved in most of these events... & I love margaritAs by the way! & bud light. but that's a given. :) & I'm pretty proud of myself b/c I don't drink during the school week... & I'd say that a majority of college kids do! hah!
-my parents threw an engagement party for my cousin & it was very fun! Jeff played & he was amazing... as always!
-I went to visit Brady on his birthday. I haven't been back since. I miss him very much. :(
-I still go to hang out w/ my B'ham friends all the time! I love it... most of the time... & I like that I can only see them on the weekends... b/c I don't think I'd like it if I was still in B'ham all the time. I like having to be away for most of the week. It makes the time with my friends better! mostly!
coming up:
-Jeff is playing at the AUBURN/Florida game tailgating next weekend... I'm pretty excited!
-Friday Ian & I are going to the Plain White T's concert in ATL & other bands will be there too... but I'm wayyyy overly excited about Plain White T's!!
-I get to miss 3 more German classes! yay! I've already planned the Fridays I'm going to miss! I'm pretty excited!
-I'm going to even more concerts... it's kind of a bad addiction... but I love it!
-Frank & I are going to see our band together at the beginning of November! I'm excited! I've missed him!
I've pretty much come to realize that losing people you love is just a part of life. Sometimes it's for the best, and sometimes it may not be... but nonetheless, it happens. & sometimes it can just be temporary... & maybe that's a good thing too. but sometimes it's forever. & maybe some people just aren't meant to be friends with eachother. life is pretty crazy. & despite the fact that I am lonely lately and lots of things go wrong in my life... I do feel lucky to be alive. I mean, I am lucky. very lucky. life's just hard sometimes... and that's just the way things go.
anyway... that's about all I can think of to say right now... I have a test tomorrow that I definately should go study for! I already finished my german homework! yay! but I really need to get studying for that history test... see y'all!
