not so distant future
mmm i should be listening to a chinese passage about the election in taiwan and how it influenced the relationship between taiwan and mainland china..... buuuuuuut the weather is so nice! all i can do is sit here outside the classroom, untouched work in front of me, and look at the view of the sky and... well and the building in front of me haha. however it IS nice to know the ocean is right behind that :)
its crazy to think i'm graduating here next week! about to start a new chapter in my life and i couldn't be more unprepared. i really hope that november is a month of smooth transition and mental preparation. i was silly to think that going to New York would bring me closer to her, especially when im going alone. now that i realize that, though, i can see it is definitely a necessary step to re-visit by myself. i can take some time to clear my mind, discover new things in my favorite city, and have an overall worry-free 10 days. thanksgiving in texas isn't going to be the hilight of my vacation, but it definitely will be comforting to spend time with my family and old friends.
i cant WAIT to go live in hawaii though! anna orndorff is going to be my roommate, which is great cause she was the run team captian before i took over- meaning we will FORCE each other to run. plus she is a really chill girl and i know i can trust her. and if anyone wants to come visit, i know she'll be cool with me letting my friends stay! im so soooo excited.
ideally, this "new chapter" will bring along with it a new period of growth that will help me move past my outdated love quest.
