BEDA begins
Another April has come and again I attempt Blog Every Day of April. This might be a bigger challenge this year as I'm in the process of moving house.
Basically, my great aunt passed away a year and a half ago, but because her house was littrally filled with stuff, it took a while to sort it all out. A year later it finally was and her house was sold at auction. It went for a lot more than predicted.
With his half of the money my dad decided to buy a house to rent out. His retiring this year and this is part of his plan.
On my end,I need somewhere to live. My mother is retired and wants to move in with her boyfriend. In fact, I think the plan now is for them to move down to the coast. Anyway, I've been wanting to move out for ages anyway and my dad has never rented out before, so the perect solution is for me to be his first tennant.
Earlier this year he bought a little house in Chippenham which for me is perfect as it's much closer to work, Bath and Bristol. Also both my dad and my brother live there and it's got much better shops than Calne.
The house has needed a few things done to it, so I've had to wait to move, but I have this whole coming week off work and hopefully, at some point, I'll be able to move in. I've got a lot of my stuff packed away in boxes at the moment and I'm getting rather eager.
It's going to be weird, as I've lived in my current house for nearly 10 years and while I won't miss living in Calne, I will in some ways miss living here. I mean, this is my home. I'll just have to make a new home.
So, depending on what the internet situation is like, I will try to keep updating.
