I should really update more often. The only thing I want to write about though is a little trip I went on a couple of weeks ago.

Basically, Will and I work on the same department, which makes it hard for us to get any time off together. However on the 10th of Jan Will and I were given out first day off together since we started dating, so he decided to plan a surprise for me. He pretty much told everyone where we were going except me. I couldn't wait! Even on the day he wouldn't tell me, I just had to follow him.

We first went on a train to Swindon and changed there for Cardiff. This confused me, as I'd been under the impression that we were heading towards London...which I suppose we had been to begin with. Since we still had a couple more changes to make, I assumed we were going to somewhere in Wales or the midlands. When we reached Cardiff I learned they were very short changes. As we were on our way to Cardiff Bay, I worked out where we were going. I asked Will "Are you going to the Doctor Who Experience?" And yes we were! I was so excited. I'd never been before and neither had he. In fact he was afraid I had been before.

It was amazing! The first part of the tour is interactive and you go through a little story, but you're not allowed to take pictures. Once out of that you get to the exhibition where all the costumes and props are. I was disappointed that the 2nd Doctor's outfit was a replica, I should have expected it really, but it was still really cool. A lot of the props and clothing were original, or refurbished. I loved seeing the old and new consoles and the actual TARDIS props. It was all just so much fun.
Afterwards I spent a little more money in the gift shop than intended and yet all I bought was a small cuddly adipose, a wrist band, a bag and Doctor Who Monopoly.

We headed back into Cardiff for food at this really cool Whetherspoons which is an old converted theatre. They'd kept the stalls and the decoration over where the stage would have been.

The whole day was just awesome and can't believe Will managed to keep it a surprise right up until we got there. He is just the best and I'm so touch that he did it. No one's ever surprised me like that before. I do love him.
