Cars, men, superheroes and lost things

It's been eventful, yet also quiet.

Starting on Sat, I met a guy for coffee in town. I worked with him at Romarsh, but we barely exchanged more than a few words the entire fives years I was there, but after I left he started sending me messages over Facebook saying he liked me. He's a nice guy, but I don't feel an attraction to him. When we meet up it was kinda weird, there wasn't any connection or spark or anything special. He's since asked me out, but I've turned him down. I may get lonely for a guy sometimes, but that doesn't mean I'm going to jump on the first guy who asks. There needs to be an attraction there or something or else what's the point.

Anyway, I spent the rest of the day watching The Avengers and looking up related pictures on Tumblr. It's an awesome film. Shame the next one doesn't come out for ages. There's a boxset I want to get that includes Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Hulk, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers. If only it wasn't over £40.

Here's a vid I found: The Power Avengers.

On Sunday I went down to Sel's work place where I played Magic with Moose and tried to keep warm. Spring my ass, it was stupidly cold. The three of us went to a pub afterwards which was fun. However I left my purse in the pub. D'oh! I rang them this morning and they're going to post it back to me. Yay, homing purse strikes again.

As for today, well, I was up early to take my car into the garage so it could be fixed and pass the MOT. It did and didn't take as long as I thought which was good. Came home and got a call from the people who are going to fix the dent in my car. They're taking it away tomorrow. Yay! I then rang up the hire car place. They're going to pick me up tomorrow and take me to get my hire car which I can then drive to work. Annoyingly they need a £50 deposit and I don't have my debit or credit card. Thankfully my mum's going to pay it (she'll get it back after all)

So yeah, it's been all go this morning. On the plus side my car's getting fixed and I don't have to pay, I get a hire car my purse is being sent back to me AND I finally got my discount card at work. It's all good.
