British Weather
It's been hot today. And sunny for the most part, but mostly hot. As expected we got an ice lolly half an hour before our afternoon break. And we can't eat and work so we got two breaks in the afternoon. Bonus.
But half an hour before home time...it rained. And boy did it rain. And thunder. Boy, did it thunder. Right over our heads at one point. It was still raining when we left and I wanted to get home as quickly as possible on my bike...with no coat. I got drenched and I wasn't even out in it long.
Seriously, in this country, when you leave the house you need to prepare for everything. Apparently it was supposed to rain over the weekend, but it was sunny both Sat and Sun.
Overall today was all right. I'm feeling better, even though my ear is still a little bunged up and I have this tickly cough that doesn't want to go away. We're also low on work, which is no surprise, but we have no supervisor which makes things a little difficult.
