Chippenham Baby!

I made it!

This morning I woke up feeling anxious about the whole thing which is natural considering I haven't been to Chippenham town centre for about a year and  half. All the way there I felt on edge and ready to just get off the bus, but something, I don't know what, kept me on until we reached the bus station. Getting off didn't ease my stomach much, but still me and mum walked down to Millets (it's fortunate that all the shops are just right there) and looked around for a new coat. Sometime during this search I felt better and found a nice coat I liked. (They didn't have much variety) and afterwards mum said she needed to pick up a few other things and wondered if I wanted to come or just go wait for the next bus. I figured since I was feeling better I might as well go with her.

Man, Chippenham hasn't changed a lot, except Ottaker's is now Waterstones, but I think I already knew that, New Look is where Littlewoods used to be and they have a Starbucks. It was only a matter of time.

Anyway, after picking up what mum wanted (and looking around Waterstones a bit) we went back to the bus stop. It turns out we caught not the next bus from the one we caught but the one after that, so we were probably in Chippenham for about 30 to 40 minutes. That's way better than I thought I'd do.

Next weekend mum is going away with her boyfriend, so I'll be attempting to go to Chippenham by myself.
