Walk about
Today I went for a walk around Calne which is an achievement seeing as I take my bike everywhere. I not only got into town, but also walked around just enjoying the sunshine (and playing games in my head)
I stopped by a park which used to be known as The Wreck or The Reck I'm not sure which spelling. But anyway it's a park right next to my old Primary school and not far from my old house so you can imagine I spent a lot of time there as a child. (Not a fun place to walk through at night with no street lights)
And it's changed. The play equiptment is all shiny new, not wooden and some of it looks weird. Of course when I was young the play equiptment was on the other side of the park, so it's changed a lot in the last 20 years.
I didn't spend much time there. It's Easter Break so the place was crawling with young children, parents and bored young teenagers. I might go back there after Easter.
And there's more good news, this week should be the week that I finally get on a bus. Making it to Chippenham is a goal, but for the moment I just need to get on the damn bus.
