Wow. So June was the last time I wrote anything in here. I've been up to a lot since then.
Vegas is doing well. She has gotten pretty big since the picture below was taken. Alli left at the end of June to go back home. We were all sad but Jack and I are going to visit her at the end of September. YAY!
I took at business trip out to LA to visit the Atlantic office, Hot Topic, the screen printer we use for a lot of projects, and a company we use to make accessories. It was a good time and I got to hang out with Ranger and Chris a lot. Miss both of them. We went to the Kwik E Mart too! Holla!
Then there was the Motion City / Forecast tour which was a lot of fun. The Forecast came back and stayed at our apartment for the night. We went to O'Brien's and played darts. The next day was Warped Tour. I was only there for half the day because I had to fly home to go see Jimmy Buffet with the family! The worst part was that I ended up stuck overnight in Atlanta AGAIN. I hate Airtran! At least I got a free flight out of it. Jimmy Buffet show was amazing and it was good to spend time with mom, dad, and Steve.
A couple weeks later Corin got married. I flew back home to go to the wedding. Terry came down from Chicago and went with me so I wouldn't have to go by myself. We had a blast and it was exciting to see all my friends from High School. Kind of crazy that they are all engaged, getting married, or married already. Marriage is still a concept that seems very foreign to me.
Last weekend Jack, Fabian, Nick and I all went down to Key West, FL. It was probably the most fun I've had in a long time. We stayed in Fort Lauderdale Friday night and ended up finding a Pirate Bar down the alley close to our hotel. Somehow we made it back to our hotel and into the pool right outside our room. We woke up early and headed out towards Key West. The ride was a little longer than we anticipated but definitely fun none the less. We went to Margaritaville and walked around the town before getting ready for dinner. Dinner was at a great restaurant. Best food ever. We made our way out to the bar section of town. Sloppy Joe's was the main stop along the way. Drink after drink after drink. When we finally woke up the next day, we had to rush to check out of the hotel and then went down the street to have breakfast. After breakfast we went to the beach for a good portion of the day. It was so beautiful there. Jack and Nick tried to climb palm trees. The water was clear and warm. I didn't want to leave and I definitely want to go back soon.
This weekend is Labor Day weekend. Saturday I'm going to my first college tailgate haha. It may be weird but I am super excited. Sunday and Monday we will be spending at Siesta Key in Sarasota, FL. Should be good times!
I think that catches everything up. September brings a trip to Chicago at the end of the month. October brings Las Vegas and Halloween!
