Things as they be with yours truly
I wish I could post more often but I rarely consider it which is super funny, as I read everyone's entries on a daily basis. Seriously. I guess I love reading about everyone else's lives but I am less likely to share mine.
Todd and I put a contract on a house last Friday and the seller accepted it. The house was inspected yesterday and there were some minor things wrong with the wiring, outside vinyl siding and both toilets so the seller who happens to also be the contractor who renovated the house will fix those things.
Fallout a week ago was "rain" night so I wore a swimsuit and flip flops and danced barefoot on the dance floor. It was very liberating.
Monday was illiteratenazi's birthday so we met at The Phoenician, a Mediterranean restaurant and had a late dinner with many friends. Wednesday, he and his girlfriend, ptocheia got into their cars and headed to Colorado. They're moving there this week. I'm sad because ptocheia and I have been best friends for many years and while I recall her moving with an ex fiancee to the Maryland Eastern Shore many moons ago, it was not quite the same. This move to CO is further and illiteratenazi has family there. *sniff*
illiteratenazi's cat died of feline AIDS last Friday morning. They've had some bad luck for this move but I hope they get across the country safely and without too many complications.
