Moral Dilemma

So, the point of Craig's List is to get the best deal possible.  This we can all agree on.  But at what price?

The ethical question is, If someone is visibly and obviously not of sound mind and mental capacity; and then they tell you they're selling off their possessions in order to supplement their income now that they are on disability...is it OK to let them sell you a brand new (warranty and everything still in sealed plastic) DVD Recorder that retails over $300 right now (nevermind what it was when he bought it -- I feel bad enough) for less than a third of THAT price?

I mean, it's fucking cool and I'm really excited don't get me wrong.  But, I feel really bad.  Like he's so cute like with this hip pack on full of crumpled cash and he counts out change like a third grader.  But like -- his life is on sale and he can't do anything about it.
