Driving back to work yesterday there was an Indian gentleman at the toll bridge, and as I handed him my three dollars he said, "Thankyou, come again," I guess if you can't beat the stereotype.....
Yesterday at work the creepy guy came back. He tried to start up a conversation and I told him that he had crossed a line the last time we talked and I didn't feel confortable talking with him anymore, to which he responded, "I didn't realise I was crossing a line"......I was tempted to call him a great many things at that point, but that would only have prolonged the exchange of words.
After work I headed back home. I'd only be there for about 12 hours, but I didn't much care. On the way I stopped at the factory stores in Vaca Ville to get something for my Mom, and my cell phone fell out of my pocket. And a guy found it and returned it to us the same day, he wouldn't even accept any kind of reward. Some people are just wonderful.
Last night my Mom and I had a campfire in the backyard and roasted sausages, twas nice.
On the ride back to Davis this morning I saw a motorcycle gang of five, and then another group of motorcyclists of about fifty. Wow.
Today at work I was talking with one of the lap swimmers and she bagan to tell an embarrssing story about her son. In the middle of said story, her son arrives at the pool to give his mom a ride home. At that point she introduces us.......and continues with her story. LOL
Oh, and I had planned on studying this weekend, I even said I couldn't work for that reason, but between getting together with my sister on Friday, Talemark meeting Saturday morning, seeing my mom Saturday afternoon, my roomates' Lounge Lizard Concer Saturday evening, and church Sunday morning, I doubt that very much studying will get done at all.
My apartment is now beautifully clean. I have vacumned and washed dishes, and scrubbed counters...and it's excellent.
