well it does look like a loss this fall if obama does not start hitting back & hard at that. "..And for god's sake, go negative" yep! it works every time. people say they don't like negative adds but they are what voters remember.
from now on bill clinton & james carville should run all responses to republicans. they know how to fight back, the only democrats that seem to know how.

If Republicans win again, it won't be TOO bad; they'll be gridlocked in congress, and "When Washington does nothing, we win!"

That said, nonetheless, I think at that point I will a)give up following politics and b)disavow myself of any responsibility for the political process. I might, in fact, stop voting. I'll be done, it'll be official; people are too stupid to act in their own best interest.

Man, I watched Carville tear some Republican mouthpiece woman an 11th orifice on TV about a week ago.

well it won't be good. if the dems fail again then i'm going to totally sell out and vote a straight repub ticket until death because that will mean the death of the democratic party. if they can't win 2 consecutive elections where the cards are all in their favor they should close up shop.

"Man, I watched Carville tear some Republican mouthpiece woman an 11th orifice on TV about a week ago." --he needs to shadow every public appearance of mc palin (i don't think they will be campaigning separate too often) and tear away...

At least he didn't apologize for th e"lipstick on a pig" comment. That was a big test, & everyone in the media knew if he caved and begged their pardon, he would have been officially de-balled. A Kerryism, if you will.

so far the best argument against mc palin was on the daily show, it had clips of bush circa 2000 followed by clips of mccain now, saying the exact same lines. it should be shown every day with the voice over of various democrats "that's not change, that's more of the same" until election day. tailor it for every state, city, district, with whichever democrat has highest favorability rating.
