For those of you too busy to pay attention, the "bailout" of Freddie Mac and Fannny Mae is Excellent news for investors in guns, jails, tazers, gold, and other "end of the world" stocks...bad stuff indeed for "normal humans," especially those near the bottom of the economic food chain.
Pretty strange stuff; essentially, the Federal government is about to take over the largest independent home mortgage companies. For some reason "nationalization" is bad when, say Chavez does it, but when WE do it the media barely makes a fuss. This from the government that incessantly bitches ad nauseum about privatization.
React accordingly.
