Oh my. Wow. You've definitely managed to capture the deliciously evil Eleanor Prentiss Shaw, most definitely.

I had no idea what to expect when I requested this, but this is so good.

It makes sense that Eleanor would bribe his girlfriends to stay way from him, but sleeping with them? That's pure brilliance. And picturing her with Andy, I think my brain died.

I even love it more that Eleanor likes Andy back, that she actually misses her. Though I fear what those drastic measures will be.

Very cool. This is a cross-over I wouldn't have imagined, but it worked beautifully. You really captured the essence of Eleanor, especially since she's planning to "dispose" of her little problem Andy, whom she actually likes. That's scarily in character, I'd say. :)

Oh, excellent! This fic needed to exist. It might because I believe Eleanor is sexually fixated on her son that I detect some triangulation: Eleanor fucking (some of) Raymond's girlfriends because she can't fuck him. But even if that's not the case, I love this idea of Eleanor bumping off the girls (so to speak) by hook or crook. And Andy would be a wonderful foil for Eleanor. So wonderful, in fact, that I worry she'll end up dead eventually, but that's another matter.

I hope you write more TMC fic. There is so little; I'm thinking of writing up a central list or something.

thanks so much for your lovely comment! i agree completely re: eleanor's sexual fixation, and actually toyed with the idea of incorporating commentary on that within the fic. i decided to make it more of a subtle undertone. i'm glad you were able to see it!

I like how careful Eleanor is to keep her priorities in order, as others have said. Her evil, protective/overbearing, stop-at-nothing attitude is very IC.

I also *love* that, as Telanu points out, Eleanor's fucking his girlfriends because she (consciously or unconsciously) wants to fuck him. I love that Raymond seems to have a pattern of getting involved with women his mother won't like, but doesn't seem to form deep connections with most of them (if their willingness to drop him is any indication, at least). It makes me wonder if he might be going after "unsuitable" women because (consciously or unconsciously) he wants to watch Eleanor get possessive, chase them away. ...Or am I reading way too much into this?

Either way, this is fabulous. Thank you so much for writing it! Eleanor is so dangerous and excellent, and the world needs much more fic with her in it. Have you thought about sharing yours here? The comm's pretty dead, but someone might

thank you so much for your awesome comment! i don't think you're reading into this at all: i went into this fic with a lot of that in the background. there's definitely a lot of underlying things going on besides raymond's desire to piss off his mother and eleanor's desire to maintain control.

There is a possibility that I will write more....I do have 88 fics for this particular challenge and 3 help_haiti auction fics to write...but I can never say no to a request with a prompt. *clears throat* So if I had one, I certainly wouldn't object to writing it...
