Of course they played the classics: Danger, High Voltage!, Gay Bar, Dance Commander, She's White, Improper Dancing, and Jimmy Carter.
The two bands that opened were surprisingly good: Every Moving Picture and
Rock Kills Kid.
Electric Six started out in suits. Over the course of the evening, the lead singer removed more and more formal wear. By the final song, he was wearing a "Lesbians Have More Fun" t-shirt.
When they finished the encore, the lead singer jumped out into the crowd and started hugging people. Naturally, I was near the stage. So I gave the lead singer of Electric Six a big sweaty hug!
As they were walking off stage, the crowd was cheering and hoping for another encore. A girl runs past security and starts making out with the guitarist. At which point, she takes him by the hand, and leads him out of the venue quickly.
