home now from my last day of work!
(lots of people had been there for yeeeeears, so sadness ensued. me? i'm looking forward to the future for the first time in a long ass while)
i decided to go a bit off the safe side and have put off job hunting in favor of enrolling in a class to get my CIW cert (certified internet webmaster). i can't wait. well, not that i have to wait long - it starts next saturday. (!!!) the super shibby thing about it is that books are included (yay for lack of having to find them or paying xtra), and they are going into Dreamweaver, Photoshop, AND Flash (CS4, of course) as well as the CIW stuff.
i am somewhat in fear of the fact that all of this knowledge (16 weeks worth) is rolled into one make-it-or-break-it test. ONE BIIIIIIIG TEST OF AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
but i'm excited. i will be pounding fresh knowledge into my head, steady-like, for 4 months. of course, i will also be broke. no more art ref books or manga T__T .....or cds... or eating more than the cheapest stuff i can get at le publix. must stay healthy though, so no EASY MAC. much as i loved the stuff when i was at Uni. damn but i developed a hatred for canned soup and ramen in those days. haduguf and ajdi;gi;hgoiahg.
i wish i could celebrate by going out to eat or something. but that is a no-no now. i'll have to settle for the soup i made last night and have yet to taste. MYSTERIOUS. and i sorta want a celebratory mojito, but having cut alcohol for so long, i often feel weird when i drink. like sluggish, and then i get frustrated because i cannot draw or write like that.
i keep wondering if it would be a really bad idea to die my hair. ORANGE. that bright shiny orange sort of red. i think the color is hot. but a) would it look proper on my head? b) don't most people despise that color? c) would it keep guys from hitting on me as much if b were true??? d) i am horribly indecisive as a rule so this is all so beyond me.
