maybe you don't have a built in antago-meter. because antagonism is always there somewhere. it must be a bit of a blessing not to feel it.

that was... an interesting scenario to say the least. it helped put a thing or two into perspective as well.
i think i am too honest and forthright. most people would not balk at the impersonal chitchattyness, while i am consumed with wanting people i like to like me, and not being fake to those i don't (but remaining courteous). but i CAN'T do that and survive. the law has been laid down, and i must adapt or perish.
the genuine thing is my usual. but they aren't giving me the TIME. i've actually never been in this situation before.
