Oh snap, the San Antonio Highland Games is this weekend. We've always talked about going, but we didn't know it was this coming up until today. We'd love to go...is anyone else maybe going? It'd be cool to get together with someone or someones for a day of fun, hanging out and watching hot guys toss huge logs into the air.
The Cubs are pretty sore from yesterday's workout. It was the hardest one yet, but we're not complaining. Personally, I like how it feels, both during the workout and the ensuing sensations over the next couple of days. Makes me feel all rawr and scruffy and rough and tumbley. It's probably just my imagination at this point, but I even think I look a little thinner. I went from 280 to 265, but we had to switch scales at some point in there so I'm not really sure if it's me or the new scale. At any rate, I do have a nicely improving body image :P

My name is ubercub because that's the first (and only) name I took on that I don't dislike. As it is I don't particularly care for it, but my first cubfriend came up with it for me and I couldn't come up with anything better. I still reserve the right to come up with something else :)

David, because my parents named me that? When I asked my mom once about it, she said that it was a good, strong Biblical name, and it means "beloved," which I presume must have appealed to them. I used to not like my name, but then I got past that phase of my life :)

It's a picture from a couple years ago when the Cub (fzks_cub) was shaving my head. I usually ask him to cut a cubhawk in there so I can prance around with it and my nose ring in for at least a few hours -- which is how I'd have it if I had the chance, at least for a while. Before we finished shaving my head, I asked him to shave the word "CUB" in there. (I considered pig, but decided to save that one for another time.) I had to photoshop the B a bit to get it to look like a B, but I really like it. Not sure if it's hot to other people, but I like that sorta thing :) I've noticed that at least one or two people have kinda stolen the picture, so I guess I should take that as a compliment.
The only thing I would change about this one is I'd up the percentage ;) Well, that and my mom's bed =\
