(no subject)
Huh...I've put off blogging for a very long time. At first it was just procrastination. Then I kept on thinking "It's not like anyone would care anyways...so what's the point?" and then more procrastination. It's not like I had anything pleasant to blog about anyways.
Hm...in my last post I think I said I would blog about the con...but honestly, I don't really have much to blog about. I wandered around on the weekend feeling really lousy after being ditched by that slut of a ex-friend. I spent craploads of money in the dealers room. Mostly in artist alley where I got a ton of Reborn prints as well as some Lucky Star, K-On and other stuff. Yes, I like my moe.
Went to a bunch of panels. The Cybersix and Gundam 00 panels were the best. If you never watched Cybersix when you were a kid, I'd recommend hunting it down on youtube and watching. THat show was EPIC. As for the Gundam 00 panel, they had virtually the entire cast plus all the extras there as well as the english director (who handles the dub and everything). They ran out of chairs and room on stage XP It was amusing. It was also amusing how everyone was all like "AW CRAAPP DDD:" when Scott McNeil walked in...and he left to go do another panel somewhere else ^^;
Only other notable thing was the Mark Hildreth concert. Mark Hildreth = voice actor for Heero Yuy in Gundam Wing. He's also a musician (just like Johnny Bosch and Vic Mignogna). He did a cover of a Beatles song...and it sounded just like Heero singing a Beatles Song XP It was amusing. Other times he didn't sound so much in character though as he was just using his normal voice. I bought a CD.
So..other than that, I've just been gaming and working for the past month and a half. Oh and learning Japanese. I'll ramble about that in another post....this one is starting to feel too long.
On that note: IT IS TOO FUCKING HOT OUT. I hate summer ._. I want rain and snow.
