HNNNGGG *creams pants* NEW FMA IS OOUUT. Yeah, I just finished watching the first episode (god bless you Shinsen Fansubs). Once again, they seem to start off in the thick of things. It's pretty epic so far in terms of animation, music, battles etc.
I thought they were going to just redo it, but make it closer to the manga storyline...though..I don't recall any of episode one being in the manga. So maybe it's just going to be yet ANOTHER separate alternate storyline altogether?
Despite the uber coolness of it all, I'm going to have to say I think the first series is better so far. Certain things just seem a bit...off to me. I think it's just more so fanservice for the already die hard fans.
SD:FLKJSDF They changed Roy's voice actor! This upsets me. I don't like the new VA at all. It doesn't sound nearly as cocky D: Supposedly they got a new VA for scar as well. Which worries me. Hughes sounds different to me too...but I think it's the same VA. Maybe he's just trying something different? or maybe it's just been too long since I last heard the original.
...Yeah...I totally screamed "OMG YAY!!" out loud for reals when I saw Hughes.
Oh...and apparently there's a new DBZ remake as well. The opening looks really cool and supposedly they're going to cut out all the fillers so it goes along faster. Here's the opening:
