Two weeks in and it's starting to settle in that this is home...
It's been a fun week of adventuring around w Tom. Discovering markets and nearby neighborhoods and the treasures they hold. Walking around with my little A to Z London book, which is the most wonderful little book ever.
Seeing a bus map of the SE region and being terrified of it. The chaos! I want my nice, pretty grid back!
Throwing my resume around. Everything from bar tending gigs to admin stuff to box offices to possible gig on a short film in Jan. The film gig is looking pretty good, still standing by to get final word. It would be short and sweet and at the very least, a nice way to earn my first official pounds that I can use to open my first official bank account.
NI application sent off, I'm *this* close to actually being official. Once I have that, bank account, job and health care are all options.
Finding it hard to remember that Christmas is in 2 days. I'm not really feeling it at all this year. I've been so wrapped up in getting here and settled... At least T and I are on the same page with it.
Liverpool bound tomorrow. I'm looking forward to getting out and seeing a new town.
