A little Personal Triumph
YES! I did something I've NEVER been able to do. When I was sitting at my computer, I saw something scurry under a pile of magazines on my floor. I moved, and out shot a spider about the size of a QUARTER.
Now I am usually scared SHITLESS of a spider that big, ( I'm very arachniphobic) and I either freeze or leap away. Tonight, I did something totally unusual for me:
I FOUGHT him! I kept trying to nail him, and finally I cornered him trying to crawl through a plastic tube & I shoved him out of the tube and SMASHED him with it! I GOT THAT NO GOOD SUMBITCH!

My heart was pounding, and I was breathing like I just went 15 minutes with the Ultimate Warrior, and in the words of the late Road Warrior Hawk, "OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH...WHATTA RUSH!" I feel so GREAT right now.
Now this does NOT mean I'm about to go out and start facing down tarantulas & the like. Let's not go CRAZY here, after all.
