Wanna Pet my Paper Tiger, Baby?
This post was supposed to be all about me whinging about my rent getting raised again.
But first I have to rant about something I just overheard in the lunchroom.
As I was filling up my water cup - three women were in a discussion about kids, homework, and parental participation in school.
One of the women was complaining about how the school expected her to participate in her 4 children's education and how totally unfair it was.
As the other 2 woment nodded in agreement and sympathy, I had to to bite the inside of my lip to keep from yelling out ...
"You CHOSE to have 4 children. If you didn't want to 'exert' yourself by participating in their education - maybe you should have kept your legs closed!"
I have no patience for whingy people who irresponsibly breed and expect others to raise their children.
Anyway, my rent is going up $58 as of April 1st. I think the fact that the rent increase takes effect on my birthday for the 2nd year in a row totally sucks and is probably some passive-aggressive hating that BitterBeerFace is heaping on me.
