Nyquil rocks
Pros of being an elementary school teacher:
* The ability to buy kids books with a real reason.
* Having retaught myself all the basics, I feel unbelievably smart.
* All I have to do is wear lipstick and everyone thinks I look pretty. Or else wear a dress.
* Can do arts and crafts for a purpose.
Cons of being an elementary school teacher:
* Working in a miniature petri dish. This week I had kids with stomach flus, colds, strep throat, and a whole variety of other things. I myself caught a cold and spent much of the weekend in a nyquil induced slumber (though it was bliss)
* Being around so many kids kinda kills any maternal instinct/desire for kids I may have had.
* While wearing lipstick, I am told it's too dark or too light.
