“Good morning Jin-san~,” Nao greeted as soon as he opened the door and met Jin. He did not wait for Jin’s answer or let’s say he was running straight to Jin’s car and who knows what he would do in it because he seemed so excited with exploring Jin’s new expensive car, a white Range Rover. Jin bought the car yesterday for this occasion. He really needed a car which was big and cool enough to carry what he had expected Kazuya prepared for his son.
“Seriously cutie, he will be with me for a week, not a whole month,” Jin commented and almost fell back when Kazuya shoved him a huge box. The younger ignored him and came back into the room just to get the remaining things for Nao.
“Are you going to live with me too?” Jin teased as Kazuya put neatly the bags in the trunk. Jin threw away the irritation of getting ignored by his source of desire because Kazuya innocently presented his round ass to him as he bent down quite long to recheck if the bags had what Nao needed.
Kazuya rolled his eyes when he turned back and caught where Jin’s stare was landed before. He pulled out a piece of paper from his jeans pocket. “Don’t lose it.”
Jin eyed the paper and had no interest to know what was written in it. He just shrugged and dropped the box carelessly.
“Be careful please, it’s food worth a week for Nao,” Kazuya tried to suppress his anger.
“We won’t go camping in the woods and sure I have million to buy him food,” Jin could not see why Kazuya being a fuss about it.
“Don’t argue with me,” Kazuya sighed and rubbed his eyes tiredly.
Jin was about to retort back but he chose to understand the other. It must be sleepless night for Kazuya just for the thought to leave Nao in his care. Well, he himself was sleep deprived for a week before he got the worries away. It was not like he would be with Nao 24/7 anyway.
“Do I get the share?” Jin pointed to the food. He was sick of junk food and Kazuya was sure a good cook. He bet he would eat all of those alone if it was not for Nao.
“I prefer you eat with him and send me the picture.”
Jin gaped. “What the?”
“I know what it’s in your mind and I won’t let you throw Nao a junk food party.”
“You so know me.” Jin whistled and put his hand around Kazuya’s waist.
“Hands off!!” Nao screamed from inside the car.
Jin raised both his hands in defeat but his eyes twinkled with never ending teasing for Kazuya.
“Should I come?”
“Yes, please.”
“Be careful on the way then.”
Jin was so disappointed now. “You are worried at him and I am a distrustful person.”
“Stop giving me reason to snatch Nao back and lock him inside the house.” Kazuya glared. Jin smiled wide, agreeing with that idea but Kazuya knew it was not what Nao planned. He put the paper full of the list ‘should do’ and ‘shouldn’t do’ to Jin’s palm and went to Nao’s side of the car.
Nao pulled down the window to receive the hug and kiss from his Tou-chan. Jin stood behind to witness the affection of the father and son. It took so long but he thought it was normal considering Nao did not show any embarrassing or uncomfortable face. On the contrary he seemed enjoyed his father’s love for him. After a while Jin was out of patience. He pulled Kazuya back and came forward to kiss his son too but Nao was quick enough to close the window so Jin’s lips pressed painfully to the hard surface. Kazuya snickered behind him.
“Rascal,” Jin glared at the tongue out Nao.
“What?” It did not miss Kazuya’s ears.
“Don’t worry Kazuya, I’ll protect him with all my might,” Jin promised or rather to change the topic straight away.
Kazuya crossed his hands. “I don’t believe you even a bit.”
Jin gave up. “Just give me a kiss before we go?” Jin still did not want to give up.
“Just go already,” Kazuya shoo-ed him away.
“Meanie cutie. You ruin the nice atmosphere like we are parting in the morning to send our son to school,” Jin stated his displeased and there Kazuya could not believe that Jin had such imagination about them. What was Jin eating or drinking before coming here? Kazuya wondered.
“What take you two so long?” Nao was getting bored in the car.
Kazuya got closer again to kiss Nao’s forehead. “Take care of yourself. I love you.”
Nao beamed. “I love you too, Tou-chan.”
Kazuya smiled and walked back to Jin who was stubbornly would not move before kazuya gave in to give him a kiss. “You’re such a pain.”
“Kiss me,” Jin insisted. He deserved the kiss. After all living with his son for the first time really made him nervous with the sudden responsibility.
Kazuya tiptoed to plant kiss to Jin’s cheek. He thought it was enough but Jin did not think so. He wrapped his hands around Kazuya’s slim body and devoured his lips in hungry and angry kiss. Kazuya was taken aback but he let Jin kiss him as he convinced himself that he was ready enough to trust this man a little about protecting his, oh no, their son. Kazuya still really did not like the idea to share his son with Jin.
“I’ll miss you,” Jin whispered and did not care if he sounded so gay and desperate. He even got a feeling if he turned into a protective husband who could not let go of his wife. It was seriously giving him a chill, but well, Jin found himself enjoying it, especially when Kazuya blushed and tried to get away from him.
A loud honk surprised them. They looked at the fuming Nao in the car. Jin stole a kiss from Kazuya before stormed to the car. Kazuya was flabbergasted for the entire stunt Jin did to him but he waved right away for Nao. He watched the car went away and he felt lonely immediately. As he was getting back into the house, he laid on his bed, just staring into the ceiling. He was silent at first but then he let the tears shed. He wished he could bare himself without his son for a week. He hated being alone. However for his son, he should be strong. He hoped everything would be alright.
(.^_^.)
“Nao, what do you want to be?” Jin asked because the car was too quiet and eerie for his liking.
The boy was busy with his phone and started to put on his earphones. “I wanna be a detective,” he answered and looked at Jin seriously. “Jin-san, please focus on driving. Don’t mind me.”
Jin shut his mouth. Okay, so his son was not the type to chit-chat, or maybe he did not like to talk to him. About an hour later they arrived to Jin’s neighborhood but he slowed down the car, not stopping. He grabbed his sunglasses from the dashboard, put them on, and turned to Nao. Luckily the boy wore a parka. He pulled up and covered Nao’s head with the hoodie. The boy was surprised at first yet he got it right away that it was Jin’s attempt to disguise them. A bunch of people gathered outside Jin’s house. They must be paparazzi.
A block away from his house, Jin stopped the car and made a call to Ryo.
“Hey, do I still have my old apartment?” Jin asked without saying hello.
“I sold it. You’ve got a new one, though. High level of security on top of that,” Ryo answered. “I wonder why they wait for a week just for release the gossip. I guess they need more evidence and it is still a mystery why they know it is the day you will get Nao to your house.”
“Should I be worry? There’s a stalker, maybe?” Jin was suspicious. He was actually restless that there was no ruckus over the fight he had with Nao a week ago in public. He thought it was so strange because the paparazzi were always fast to make news about his scandal.
“I guess they put two and two together. All this time they have only assumptions about your relationship with Nao. You two are really looked alike. Couldn’t blame them if they come to that outcome, but still they need more. If they want to ruin you, they won’t do something simple. They want your scandal to rock the fashion world.”
“Let’s talk about it later, ‘kay? Give me the address.” Jin initiated it because Nao gave him worried looks. He smiled to assure him that nothing to be worried about. He got Ryo’s message about his new apartment’s address. It was quite far from his house but he did not mind it. Nao’s safety came first. He would tell kazuya about it later.
The apartment was only three floored but it has the security systems that made him satisfied. He taught Nao about using code to pass at least three doors into the building and to his apartment. He asked two people there to bring all their things. He wanted to get a closer look of this new pace with his son. It was not huge but large enough for two people living in it. It has two bedrooms. Nao chose the one that got much sun ray. He unloaded his bag. He noticed that Nao was as neat as Kazuya. He did not need Jin to remind him to arrange his own things. It was helpful because he was not the type to nag.
When their things were finally in the room, Jin started with the food. He was glad he had big refrigerator. Kazuya sure cooked a lot and every meal was placed carefully in each box. He even named what food inside so they did not have to open the lid to make the food keep highly protected inside the containers. He put all of them into the fridge and found himself debated if he was ready to stop eating junk food. Kazuya’s food was made of love and so hygienic which gave goosebumps to Jin.
He made sure Nao was still occupying himself in unpacking and arranging his things before he got outside to the veranda to have privacy and called Ryo again.
“How bad is it?” He asked Ryo and lit a cigarette.
“Johnny’s in America right now. Yes, he is furious, but I guess he wait for the bomb before he wants you to meet him,” Ryo said calmly. It was rare they did not shout to each other.
“I can see the worst part of it,” Jin predicted it would not go well. He needed to protect not only himself, but also Nao and Kazuya.
“I still can’t believe you have a son,” Ryo commented dryly. “And now you play house with him. Unbelievable.”
“Don’t mock me.”
“Why should I? It’s a fact and so ridiculous, you know. Just wonder since when you care for other people instead of yourself?”
Jin frowned. “I am still myself.”
“Just think what you want. I advise you that being a parent will change you whether you want it or not.”
“I won’t change,” Jin had no doubt about it.
Ryo laughed evilly. “Time will tell.”
“Shut up.” Jin lighted another cigarette.
“Good luck.” Ryo ended the call.
Jin shook his head. What a weird conversation. He thought it was right decision to tell his company about his little secret about Nao because he did not want them to know about them from the gossip which sure will come out to the open. Ryo was a professional in dealing with his mess, so he kind of let his manager did what he could not. Ryo helped him to find more information about how come Nao ended up as his biological son.
“Hey,” Nao said suddenly which made Jin jump in surprise.
“What?” Jin searched something to put out his cigarette and finally just crushed it under his slope. Nao grimaced at the view.
“Where’s my snack?” Nao asked and Jin was not moving.
“What snack?”
“My snack,” Nao said it like it was something ordinary.
Jin walked pass Nao to the kitchen. He opened the fridge to show what was inside. The boy swept his vision through it but then pouted.
“All of them are food.”
“I guess snack is food too?”
Nao looked at Jin like he was growing two heads.
“What do you want then?” Jin closed the fridge hard to show his impatience. He knew soon or later they would start a fight. He just did not expect it would be for food.
Nao sat on a chair in the dining table. Eyes locked on Jin who was for a long time just stand there. He did not get it at all.
“Pancakes, cookies, pudding, ice cream, cakes,” Nao counted on. Jin wanted to bang his head to the table especially after the last word, “Handmade.”
“Do you really think I can cook?” Jin asked in disbelief.
“I guess not.” Nao said without a doubt. Jin felt relieved. “Just try it.” Nao grinned and Jin face palmed.
Jin pulled out a chair beside Nao and sat on it. He looked at Nao with so much plead in his eyes. “How about we get out? I will buy you all snacks that you want.”
Nao refused. “No need. I prefer to save the money.”
“I have a lot of money.” Jin smirked.
“I don’t want your money.” Nao smiled back. What a rascal.
“You are a big boy. Why do you want to eat snack? So childish.” Jin tried.
“I don’t care. It’s what Tou-chan always gives me so I don’t need to eat out.”
“You live with me, so you must follow my rules.”
“I don’t want to.”
“Nao…”
“I just want a snack. What’s the problem?”
Ryo was right. This is ridiculous.
“The problem is I never cook,” Jin said with sweet smile.
“You can start now.” Nao smiled back.
“Arrrgggghhhhhh….” Jin got up and left the room to vent his frustration.
Nao snickered and ran to his room. He locked the door and smiled in victory. It was just the start of making Jin living in hell.
In the living room, Jin was angry. It was barely an hour and Nao already gave him headache. “Come here.” He commanded the person on the other line.
“I’ll kill you.” It was Kazuya’s reply when Jin could not survive even a day in the same roof with their son.
“HE WANTS SNACK,” Jin roared.
“What a drama queen. Then give him snack,” Kazuya said easily, not understanding what the fuss for.
“He wants it handmade!”
“Then make it, as simple as that.”
“I’ll eat you.”
“I’ll eat you first.”
“Why don’t you come here?”
“You are supposed to be living with Nao for a week without me.”
“I can’t.”
“What?”
“I’ll bring him back to you.”
“Akanishi…” Kazuya warned him.
“He’s being unreasonable.” Jin whined.
“What are you talking about? He’s just a child.”
“Can you see me as a child too?”
“Stop it, Jin. It’s gross.”
“Arrrgghhhhh…we even move to my new apartment to avoid paparazzi,” Jin said in horror.
“Which apartment?” It turned on the alarm in Kazuya’s protective side.
Jin smiled in triumph. “I’ll text you the address.”
“Jin, don’t make me…”
“Don’t worry, Tou-chan. We are okay,” Nao snatched Jin’s phone. “Nishikido-san takes care of everything. We are safe here. See you next week. I love you, Tou-chan.” He talked so fast and only heard Kazuya said ‘I love you’ back.
Nao then glared at Jin. “I decide to live with you to get to know you. I want to spend time with you. I want to see what you can do with me around. You are an adult. Why can you do something that I can be proud about or be a good example? I expect so much for you because I won’t let an incompetent and lousy man near my Tou-chan.”
“Nao, you know I am not a father material.” Jin tried to put some sense to the boy.
“I never asked you to be my father.”
“So what’s this all about?”
“To see if you are a good man.”
“I…am?”
Nao sighed. “You don’t even know yourself.”
“Is it an insult?” Jin grumbled in annoyance.
“It’s just funny you can’t bear with me in a short time while Tou-chan takes care of me all my life.”
“That’s unfair to compare me with your dad.”
“It’s not about that, really.” Nao gave Jin’s phone back. “I am sorry, but please don’t bother Tou-chan. He gets a week without me. He must enjoy his free time. I don’t want him to only care about me. Do you understand what I mean?”
“So this is for your dad?”
“For us.” Nao corrected.
“You are a good kid.” Jin ruffled Nao’s hair. He never thought that Nao got idea to live with him to give Kazuya space and time for himself. He was just unknown that Nao wanted to make his live hard as a bonus.
“Since you can’t give me snack, you can’t have your cigarette.” Nao opened his palm.
Jin raised one of his eyebrows. “What?”
“Give me that,” Nao insisted.
“Give me a break,” Jin gave up his cigarette.
“Next time you call Tou-chan, give me your car keys,” Nao grinned.
“Just go to your room already,” Jin said in defeat. He groaned when Nao followed him sitting on the carpet. He ignored the boy and started to play the PSP. Soon, they engaged into a battle game. Jin lost many times. Really, today was a nightmare. He did not know what it would become for a week.
At Kazuya’s flat, there was a new post coming. Kazuya got it after he spent a good amount of time to stare at his phone. He was worried but he must believe in them. It was just day one. He would not want to be nerve wrecking for a whole week.
He put the phone aside to open the envelope. However he stopped right after he read what was written on the outside. ‘For K.’
Without further ado he ripped it to see what was in the inside. His hands were shaking. Like he expected there was a lot of money inside. He threw it away to the garbage can. No,…how can she find him again? She was supposed to be died….right?
To be continued…(.^_^.)
