Summary: Ueda dared himself lie to Johnny and everyone just because to help Ryo to keep on in two groups. Could he help Ryo with big lies that he even didn’t believe it himself? Did Ryo want to get along with Ueda’s lie? Could the lies change their fate from a couple of enemy to something different? Let’s find out.

In the Jimusho building, KAT-TUN had a briefing about their work for next month. At the end of the briefing, their manager gave them the schedule which was rearranged by him. They thanked him for his hard work and his understanding about Jin’s preoccupation because of Ryo.

Ueda has packed his stuff when Kame asked him a favour.

“Ne, Tat-chan, can you help me?” asked Kame.

“About what?” said Ueda, not even looking at Kame and keeping his focus on his task. He looked at the still waiting Kame after he finished it.

Kame gave him a sheet of paper about the schedule that was given by their manager. Jin’s name was written on the top of the paper.

“Please give this to Jin at the hospital because I can’t. I have shooting for my dorama until late and he told me that he will stay in the hospital again tonight. I hope you don’t have any appointment today,” said Kame.

Ueda hesitated in accepting Kame’s task at first but he gave in finally. “Hmm … I only have boxing practice in the evening, so I think I can do that,” he said, earning a big hug from Kame.

“Thank you so much, Tat-chan! I love you!” said Kame happily. He smiled at him full of appreciation because it was difficult for him to do that with his firm schedule for his new dorama.

Ueda couldn’t help but smile too. “I guess Jin will kill me if he knew you said you love me, Kame.”

Kame rested his hand on his waist then said, “Hey, you are my best friend so I love you Tat-chan, well Jin is my best friend too but it was before he confessed and fucked me,” said Kame and Ueda rolled his eyes because it seemed like Kame didn’t notice he has said something that’s out of the topic. “If he wants to kill you, he has to kill me first!” added Kame childishly.

“Yeah, whatever,” said Ueda, not caring.

Kame was about to whine but he was surprised when he accidentally looked at the clock in their dressing room. He grabbed his bag and hurried to go. “I got to go. Ja Tat-chan!”

“Bye,” retorted Ueda but Kame was already lost from his sight. Then he heard Koki whine. He turned around and looked at the rapper incredulously. “Stop it Koki. You look like shit like that!”

“WWHHHHOAA neither you nor Kame is good to me,” Koki sulked to Nakamaru. “First, Kame only said ‘goodbye’ to you and now you complain about my reaction.”

“Stop being a drama queen, Koki. Your face seriously doesn’t match with your reaction!” insulted Ueda heartlessly and he left their dressing room quickly. He could hear the sound of Koki whining more, Maru’s comforting voice and Junno laughing.

Ueda put Jin’s schedule in his bag and then searched for his car key. He got into his car and started the engine to go to the hospital. It’s the third time he went there. He wondered how Ryo’s condition was now. That bastard successfully made NEWS members sad and worried for him. Besides that, he made Jin focus fully at him instead of to his lover and his group. Suddenly, Ueda remembered about his intention to help him but every time he remembered all that Ryo did to him, it almost made him forget his intention immediately.

Today, KAT-TUN’s schedule was totally free after the briefing. Ueda was happy because, finally, he could practice boxing again. He didn’t have time to do that for two months because of the tight schedule of KAT-TUN before. Unfortunately, his happiness didn’t last long because he was afraid if he came to the hospital to meet Jin, he’ll see Ryo too. Ryo always succeeded in ruining his day every time they met each other. He didn’t want that so he tried to meet Jin without Ryo noticing him. He hoped that Ryo was sleeping or that Jin was outside of his room when he arrived there. He could just guess and hope about it because Jin’s cell phone was off so it was difficult to check that.

One hour later, Ueda arrived at the hospital. He saw the building before he walked in. He had never observed every single sight of the place because the first time he came here he was too shocked about Ryo fainting in blood and the second time Koki was too busy  getting his attention to him saying nonstop that he couldn’t wait to see Ryo’s weak side. Ueda observed his surroundings with interest but he didn’t focus on his walking and he bumped to someone in front of him.

He quickly apologized. “I’m sorry,” he said as he bent down his upper body, causing him to not notice who he bumped to.

“It’s okay, Ueda. YOU don’t have to apologize,” said the other.

Ueda’s eyes went wide as he heard the ‘YOU’ of the old man in front of him. In the world, there’s only one person who’s famous for using that word. It’s none other than Johnny, of course. Ueda was stunned and looked at him in real shock. What the hell is the Banchou doing here? He was alone and nobody noticed him as one of the most famous people in Japan entertainment. He was just like this, very simple and unnoticed, like always.

Johnny patted Ueda’s shoulder and led him to go his way. “Wanna have a drink, Ueda?” said Johnny in a low voice so that people around couldn’t recognize them. Luckily, Ueda had his hat covering his face. He nodded obediently and followed him to the cafeteria’s way.

“What do YOU want to drink?” asked Johnny when they arrived there.

“Eh? Ano … tea … yes tea is alright,” answered Ueda nervously.

Johnny nodded and went his way to the counter. Ueda looked at him, still in shock but he ran over him after he realized Johnny was the one who ordered their drinks. What kind of person was him if he let his Banchou to order their drinks?

“Wait, let me order for us,” said Ueda. He went to the counter after Johnny smiled and walked to the table that was far away from the counter. It seemed like Johnny wanted to have a private table that far for people.

Ueda ordered iced tea for himself and didn’t know what to order for Johnny. He forgot to ask the older man what drink he wanted. Ueda then randomly ordered black coffee because the man behind the counter was getting curious why he kept hanging down his head so that he couldn’t see his face. He paid the bill and walked to Johnny’s table with the tray of their drinks in his hands. He placed their drinks silently on the table and sat opposite the older. He stared blankly at his ice tea until Johnny broke the deathly silence between them.

“What are YOU doing here?” asked Johnny. He took a sip of his black coffee. He flinched a bit, tasting the bitterness and hotness of it.

Ueda looked at everything around the cafeteria but Johnny. The older realized his nervous behaviour. He placed his coffee on the table and looked at Ueda. “What are YOU nervous for? I am not a lion here,” said Johnny so that Ueda could relax.

After one minute, Ueda tried to pull his courage himself to face his Banchou and smiled a little. It’s the first time he is talking face to face to him so he couldn’t help but feel nervous and scared a bit, but he tried to forget it because he hasn’t answered Johnny question yet.

“I … I am sorry Johnny-san. I can’t help but feel nervous. I … I came here to … to meet Jin. Ka-Kame asked me to give Jin’s schedule. Th-that’s why I’m here now,” answered Ueda in a mumbling tone. He never knew Johnny had an aura that could make him not manage his own words properly.

“Only for it?” asked Johnny, demanding another answer from him.

“Eh?” Ueda frowned, not getting what Johnny meant.

“Nothing,” said Johnny as he took a sip of his coffee again.

Ueda didn’t want the silence catching them again so he tried to ask, “Ano… what are you doing here Johnny-san?”

Johnny smiled and answered, “I visited one of my golden boys.”

“Excuse me?” Ueda really confused now.

“I meant your enemy,” added Johnny and he could see Ueda change face.

“Oh,” Ueda tried to hide his surprise. He didn’t understand since when Johnny got worried about Ryo too and why he came here alone with his busy schedule just to visit him. He wondered whether Johnny would visit him too if he was sick. He guessed it wouldn’t happen because he was so different from Ryo. That bastard became one of the golden boys for Johnny. Not like him who became one of the many people in Johnny’s. It’s the big difference between them.

Suddenly, Johnny sighed and rested his back deeply on the chair. His face looked so stressed. After he visited Ryo and saw his condition with his own eyes and with a long explanation from, Jin Johnny felt he didn’t have another choice but consider NEWS’ decision to let him go from the group. He was so surprised NEWS asked him to let Ryo stay with Kanjani and leave NEWS. At first he thought they were just joking but after seeing how sad and firm their faces were, it made him think they had considered about that together and they got their final decision knowing  very well the consequences behind it. Of course, Johnny didn’t approve that easily. Before, he must know the reason behind it and he volunteered himself to get the answer. Now, he knew what was going on and he understood why NEWS could make a big decision like that.

Somehow, Johnny felt so bad about himself because he was the one who made Ryo be in two groups. He knew Ryo had a limit in doing that and the time he exceeded it was now. Johnny massaged his wrinkled forehead. He didn’t want Ryo to let go of them. It could make the work system of Johnny’s unstable. After NEWS healed from three accidents that caused three members of the group to be suspended, he didn’t want to face the anger and disappointment of NEWS fans and the rest of NEWS fall to sorrow again. The decision to make Ryo be in just one group wasn’t easy and simple like we imagine. We had to think for Ryo’s side too. Johnny tried thinking what the best decision for that is but he couldn't think of anything decision rational, wise or good enough that could be accepted by Ryo, NEWS, fans and other people. It was so complicated.

“What’s wrong?” asked Ueda, worried seeing Johnny’s face so dark like he had a really big problem in his life.

Johnny got out of his deep thought then let out everything in his head without even caring who was he was talking  to, “I didn’t know what I have to do about NEWS asked earlier,” he spit it out and kept massaging his forehead.

Ueda blinked. “What was that about?” he asked.

“They asked me to let Ryo go of NEWS.”

“Why?” Ueda couldn’t find another word to say.

Johnny sighed. He started to tell him everything. “Ryo finally collapses and reaches his limit after he kept himself in two groups for six years. He is only human and has a time when he can’t force his body to overwork anymore. I think the time for him to stay in two groups is over. I knew it will happen a long time ago. The decision to make him be in two groups was wrong from the start. I must be the one to be blamed here. I knew that but I let it continue until now. I feel like I fail as a Banchou,” said Johnny sadly.

Ueda stared at Johnny, he was thinking if Johnny acted like that. He’s really like a real grandfather who worried about his grandchild’s future. Ueda could see confusion and worried in Johnny’s eyes. He really couldn’t understand what Ryo’s power was to make everyone do something that they never did usually. It’s the first time he saw Johnny very worried about someone in JE. So far Ueda thought Johnny only took advantages from them and didn’t care anymore for everything that happened to them as long as they made a lot of money for him. Only in three days he discovered everything that he didn’t know. He was very surprised here.

“Are you serious in letting Ryo let go of NEWS? I think it’s not a good idea,” asked Ueda after silence haunted them for ten minutes.

“Why are YOU thinking like that?” Johnny asked back.

“Eh? I don’t know,” Ueda shook his head,  confused with his own statement.

“YOU know, I have already planned to let him stay only in one group since his car accident last year. It gave me a big shock. I thought he was the victim in that accident or he caused a big accident that was dangerous for the others. Fortunately, he wasn’t using drugs or something when it happened. The Doctor explained it was because of tiredness so he drove while he was sleepy. Therefore, I protected him, giving him a restriction that he wasn’t allowed to drive for six months. He understood it and fully regretted the accident. Then, NEWS and Kanjani had tight schedules. Especially Kanjani, they had a concert tour and released an album for their fifth anniversary and NEWS was the host for 24 hour TV. Ryo got a big role in a dorama special, and then he got a role with Tackey at the same time in Orthros. I thought it’s crazy he had to shoot for two doramas in one day. But Ryo is a very serious man when it’s related with his job. He could be like that. Sometimes, I wonder where he gets his energy. But I wasn’t too surprised when he got infected by H1N1 because his body is in a bad condition so he was so easy to get hit by illness. I felt it’s the right time for him to take a rest but he made me shocked again when he came back to work five days after he got quarantined in his parents’ house. I got angry with him but seeing how he tried to work hard for his job, I surrendered. Then NEWS and Kanjani released PVs again. Kanjani went even busier with their Christmas album and had their countdown concert in Osaka at the end of the year. I noticed it’s too much for him and it seemed like he couldn’t take it anymore although I knew he tried to hide and ignore that. YOU can see the change of his body. He lost weight, his face is paler, and his eyes show how tired he is. I’m sad looking at his condition. Somehow, he looks like he lost his brightness. I simply don’t want that to happen. I want him to come back to himself like before. He deserves that,” said Johnny and sighed in the end, not noticing Ueda’s shock.

Upon hearing Johnny’s statement that showed how much the older cared and paid full attention for Ryo Ueda felt something tug at his heart. He has never seen someone really care for another very openly like that. He felt he could understand the feeling of the others for Ryo. It might be that, for him, the younger one was only someone that liked to ruin his day but for the others he had an important meaning to them, because if they didn’t they wouldn’t worry for him so much. Now, he realized he wanted to know the true reason of the power in Ryo, he was curious because he had never been special for other people.

Ueda stared at Johnny seriously and he was surprised because he remembered he intended to do his best for Ryo, and now’s the time for him to do it. His hand became sweaty as suddenly he got a crazy idea that suddenly popped up in his mind. He really didn't know where the hell he could get a crazy idea like that. It was seriously the worst idea but he couldn’t find another way to help Ryo except that. He let silence haunt him and Johnny again; it gave him time to consider his sudden idea. It was bad because he had to lie to Johnny. Yes, his sudden idea was, he had to lie. It’s not a little lie but a big lie which could throw him straight to his grave if Johnny knew he was lying to him.

The consequences of it were really dangerous because his career as an idol was going to end if his lie failed and his life ended if Ryo didn’t want to get along with his lie. He tried to search for another idea but his brain seemed to have stopped working. He knew he wouldn’t get anything to help Ryo unless there’s a big risk to his career but he wanted to do something that has meaning to his life although the way that he chose to help is wrong, so it was okay though he put his life in the hands of the enemy. Besides that, he wanted to help him from the bottom of his heart. He just couldn’t stand seeing someone get broken without do anything. He wanted to be a useful person for someone although that someone was his enemy. He didn’t care if Ryo was the one he helped, he only cared that he would help someone to not lose their friends and their happiness.  There might come a day Ryo would help him in exchange if he faced a complicated problem too and he kept thinking positive about it and convinced himself that helping someone is a good thing to do.

"Ano...,” Ueda tried to ask something before he said his lie.

Johnny faced him with a sad expression in his old face. Johnny waited him to speak in patience. It seemed like Johnny was at a lost for words after he spilled of what he thought to Ueda moments ago.

Ueda continued to ask, "Are you really serious in approving NEWS’ members’ request? You intend to hear Nishikido-kun’s opinion about it first, right?"

Johnny shook his head. He stared at him with serious eyes; sadness was changed with firmness now. "I think I am going approve it without hearing Ryo's opinion anymore."

"Why?" Ueda eyes opened wide in surprise.

"Because I know exactly Ryo will refuse it badly. He is the most stubborn and egoistic in JE. Besides that, he is the one that tried his best to keep on being in two groups. He will obviously get angry if I asked him to let go of one of them. So I made a decision, I can make it as a command so that he wouldn’t be able to refuse it," said Johnny firmly. He said that with no hesitance like a final decision that nobody could doubt. Finally, Johnny braved taking approval for that although he would face many obstacles in doing that. He made his decision regarding his thoughts about the best thing for Ryo, nothing else.

Ueda didn't reply instead, he convinced himself about his eyes really catching the sadness in Johnny’s eyes though it's only to be seen a little. He knew for sure that Johnny made his decision after thinking seriously about that. He must’ve been ready for Ryo's reaction later. Knowing the bad side of Ryo made Ueda believe it would be a hard thing for Johnny when he talked to Ryo and to Ryo only. He couldn't imagine Ryo’s sad and broken face; somehow he could feel how bad the effect of the decision will be for Ryo.

Ueda was sure nobody could change Johnny’s mind because it’s like a final decision. He knew Johnny took a hard time with that and the latter seemed ready for all the consequences because it didn’t involve Ryo alone but two groups too and it’s more complicated because the groups exist at the same time and beneath one company. The hardest thing to deal with was the fans of course but if it was concerned about feelings it was obviously hard for NEWS’ side and Ryo.

It was wrong because Johnny didn’t want to hear Ryo’s opinion about this. It was wrong because Ryo was the one who would be very sad and broken. Again, Ueda couldn’t imagine Ryo in that state, so Ueda thought about his idea again, he was not sure that he could really help Ryo for it might only make things worse. He couldn’t get the answer as long as he tried to think about it. It's hard. He’s never faced problems as difficult as this. He’s confused right now but he didn't want to give up. The answer might appear later when he started his idea. It's the right time to start his idea though he thought he felt hesitation for lying to Johnny. Johnny was the person who gave him the opportunity to be in JE, and he has never lied to someone he respected so much. It made him confused between doing this lie or not but suddenly Ryo’s figure that has been broken by sadness appeared in his thoughts and it was enough to make him choose his choice. He gulped. He might be the biggest baka in the world but he didn’t care. It was his decision, his idea, his choice and it’s only him that could do that. If he wanted to regret it, he could do it after he did that, so he dared himself and said...

“Ano ..,” Ueda started. His sweaty hands gripped each side of his chair for support as he began to execute his superbly crazy idea.

Johnny was pulled from his thoughts and looked at him. Ueda managed to imagine he was Ryo who became one of the best actors in JE. He admitted he wasn’t a good actor but for once in his life he wanted to become one of them though it’s hard like hell. He took a deep breath, concentrated and became as serious as possible. If he failed to act, his idea wouldn’t work like he wished it would.

"I don't agree with you." Ueda stared at Johnny who furrowed his eyebrow.

"What’s the reason why YOU don’t agree with me? YOU are conscious about what YOU said, aren’t YOU?" Johnny couldn't help but laugh in ridicule. It was strange hearing that from Ueda’s mouth. Johnny didn’t expect him to say that because he thought Ueda didn't care about Ryo anymore.

"Yes I do," answered Ueda, no doubt in his voice and it made Johnny stop laughing immediately.

"What do YOU mean? Right now I really don't get YOU. Give me the best reason why," said Johnny as he crossed his hands in front of his chest. He hoped Ueda answered him with rational sentences.

It's the time.

Ueda gulped before he started to let out his lie though he was already feeling guilty but he tried not to think about that when his mouth opened and then the lie started for real. However, Ueda and Johnny didn't know there was someone eavesdropping them. He was the one that became a witness about their private conversation.

Ueda wiped his sweaty hand to his jeans when he talked. It’s now or never. "I'm so sorry Johnny-san," he said, fidgeting a little.

"About what?" asked Johnny, curious about Ueda's answer but instead, the other told him sorry.

"It's about Ryo," said Ueda and he noticed he made Johnny more curious. "All...all of what happened to him it's my entire fault."

Johnny stared at him, confused. "What do YOU mean?"

"I mean..." Ueda took a deep breath. His brain worked hard to catch something for his lie. "He got his bad condition because of me. It's true his work took a part too but I'm the one that made him not focused for what he did." Ueda couldn't believe his mouth moved faster than his brain. He was almost shocked with his own words. He ignored Johnny’s shocked and confused face then continued with his lie as if it really happened. "We had a big fight since the beginning of last year. It’s really a bad fight that made him angry and he drove like crazy and it ended with an accident. That time he was so tired so I believed our problem affected him so much. He always tried to make up to me but I was very angry at him and made our fight get worse recently. I knew, he thinks about me more than everything and my poor self just realized that after he collapsed like this. I really regret what I have done. So, if there’s someone that has to be blamed it's not you or the others but me."

"Wait a minute," said Johnny because he was confused with every statement that Ueda said. He didn't dare to make a conclusion before he made sure Ueda explained everything to him. "I surely know YOU two get into fights since forever, but I don't why YOU blame yourself and said he’s thinking of YOU besides his lovely job. Are YOU playing with me? I'm stressed now and don't dare to make a fool with me," said Johnny depressively and drank his coffee in one gulp. He needed to clear his brain.

Ueda hurried to spill his lie before he changed his mind, "Yes, Ryo and I kept fighting but it's not a cat fight like everyone thought, but a fight between lovers,” Ueda bent his head down because he couldn't stand his own lie. It's the first time he called that bastard with his given name and moreover he lied about Ryo being his lover.

!!!!!! Ueda screamed inwardly regarding his stupid lie. He couldn’t believe he said that!

Johnny’s jaw hung open. His eyes were nearly popping out of their sockets and his face was unbelievably shocked. It seemed like Ueda had just said the world was going end any minute now. Johnny processed all Ueda’s statements and started thinking his junior was insane already in saying something so unpredictable and awful like that.

“Are YOU playing with me? YOU almost gave me a heart attack YOU know! “ said Johnny still in shock.

Johnny’s reaction showed Ueda that his acting succeeded or more exactly his lie was so damn hilarious but he’s still proud he could lie seriously with his sudden skill of acting and he decided to continue before he lost his self-confidence, “I’m so sorry Johnny-san. It’s true. Ryo and I are lovers. I’m sorry we kept that secret from you,” said Ueda, pretending he regretted his fake secret.

Johnny tried to calm himself. He searched for something in Ueda’s eyes that would tell him it was just a lie but Ueda really acted like he was telling the truth and Johnny could only guess it’s true or not without even believing a single word of it. Johnny massaged his forehead again because it felt more complicated than before.

“Since when?” asked Johnny after he calmed himself.

Ueda thought for seconds. “Since January last year,” said him randomly and made Johnny surprised.

“YOU kept secret of your love relationship for one year from me?!” Johnny couldn’t help but feel angry.

Ueda panicked. “We … we are afraid you will forbid that and command us to break up. We don’t want that so we kept secret about our relationship for others too because who could believe a couple of enemies are, in fact, lovers? So we decided it is enough for only us to know this secret. We are happy as long as we are together. Everyone doesn’t need to know our love life,” said Ueda and who was once again shocked with all he said. He made a fake story very well without hesitation and he started feeling his stomach growling badly. Imagining his love life together with Ryo was like a nightmare for him. He didn’t know where the hell he got a great story about that and why he made a stupid lie about Ryo and him being lovers in the first place!

It’s the first time Johnny heard a confession from his junior about their forbidden relationship. He knew there were some gay couples in JE but he ignored it as long as it didn’t make trouble and he made sure he kept an eye on them. A couple that surely was in his spotlight was Akame and he didn’t really notice that there was a couple that he never imagined. Ryo and Ueda was the last couple in his list or he might’ve never thought that it could ever happen. That couple was the worst and most impossible to be true, so he couldn’t believe it’s true and he was unconscious that it happened for one year already.

“I want to help,” said Ueda firmly.

Johnny sighed. “What do YOU want to help about? YOU just said you are the one who caused his condition.”

Ueda hung his face. He tried using a sad tone now, “That’s why I want to help. I don’t want him sad and broken because I really know how important NEWS and Kanjani are for him.” He looked at Johnny with pleading eyes. “Please Johnny-san, think again about letting him go from NEWS. I promise, I will do anything to help him keep being in two groups. Please …”

Once again, Johnny was surprised at Ueda’s act. He couldn’t believe Ueda begged for Ryo who he thought of as Ueda’s big enemy. What a crazy day, Johnny thought. He still proceeded with all the things Ueda said and so far he didn’t get any clue why Ueda dared to make a fool of him instead Ueda talked in a serious mode throughout almost the whole conversation. Johnny realized it was difficult to admit it because he only knew of Ueda and Ryo as enemies for so long, so he couldn’t believe that what happened was, in fact, the opposite from what he thought. Seriously, imagining them as lovers was impossible, but if it was the truth, it became a complicated one.

Johnny might be able to postpone telling Ryo of his decision. Deep inside Johnny’s heart, he didn’t want Ryo to let go of his groups. He knew too, that Ryo had an important place for the groups. Then, if there was something that could solve this problem without him approving NEWS’ proposition, it’s not wrong to just try it, nee? Even though that that something was really strange and succeeded in surprising him. Johnny felt that giving Ueda the opportunity to help Ryo was the best thing to do, and if it didn’t work he didn’t have another choice but to let his final decision to be come true.

‘I will give YOU the opportunity to do what YOU can,” said Johnny and got a nod from Ueda.

Ueda thought Johnny would refuse his plead but he remembered how wise the older was, Ueda believed that Johnny could make a good decision about it. Johnny saw the bright smile on Ueda’s face and couldn’t help but smile too. It’s the first time he saw Ueda smiled purely like that for something that’s related with Ryo. Johnny wondered if it was the smile that Ueda always showed to Ryo behind other people. Now, imagining that Ryo and Ueda loved each other might be not too bad, thought Johnny.

“Then can YOU promise to give back the Ryo’s brightness? Do YOU promise to help him and make him happy?” asked Johnny. He stared at Ueda seriously.

Ueda was surprised upon hearing that. It looked like Johnny committed Ryo’s life to him and he couldn’t help thinking why Johnny asked something that he never thought he would answer. From what Johnny said to him, he seemed like he thought Ueda really could help Ryo in this problem. Ueda wasn’t sure what he would say to Johnny. His lie was too far gone than what he intended before and if he promised something that he couldn’t fulfil he could seriously get into a big trouble and he couldn’t run away again. Hesitation came back to him and make him not know what to do.

Can I really help that bastard? Can I really make him happy? Can Ryo accept my help in his life? I really don’t know. Oh, God, please help me!  thought Ueda.

“Where’s your answer Ueda? YOU make me think YOU don’t love Ryo anymore,” said Johnny coldly. If he wanted to trust someone he had to know he trusted the right person

Ueda could feel Johnny didn’t trust him and he didn’t want his lie to fail before he did that. Therefore Ueda forced himself to promise it.

“I promise,” said Ueda with firmness in his eyes.

Johnny accepted that as a deal between them. He thought for a while and with the short time he made rules for Ueda.

“I have rules for this,” said Johnny. Ueda gulped and got ready for that. He knew it’s impossible he did his lie easily. “I’ll give YOU time, if in four months Ryo didn’t change, it means YOU failed to help him and it’s the end. I am going to command him to let go of NEWS and let go of YOU too of course,” said Johnny then stopped for seconds to see Ueda’s reaction, Ueda’s eyes slightly widened. Johnny continued, “In that time, I give you two permission to show your real relationship for other people in JE. I want them to become my witnesses for you and if there’s something wrong about your relationship I will know and I have a big authority to stop this immediately. I am sure YOU know I hate lies or something that doesn’t work in the right place. And I don’t care how you help him because the important thing is he can get out of his weak state and can stand again in two groups. Besides that it becomes your punishment because YOU punched his idol face. Thank god if YOU don’t give Ryo a permanent scar in his face because if YOU do his life really broken by your hand. Don’t repeat your stupid action again whatever happens. Breaking important property for other idols is so wrong and it will lead your career to get broken too. Remember that, Ueda.”

Ueda felt so terrified about all that Johnny said to him. He made a big problem with a real devil. If it’s about deals they were talking about; sure, Johnny was smarter and more careful than you. Johnny had never lost deals and it snapped Ueda hard and he almost ended his lie at that time. He lied and it might never be forgiven by Johnny. Ueda sank in his thoughts and he didn’t notice that Johnny got a phone call. Johnny answered his phone but his eyes caught a terrified and troubled face of Ueda. Johnny let Ueda think about what he said and somehow he felt Ueda had lied to him. In fact Johnny was a person who didn’t immediately believe something if he didn’t see it with his own eyes. He wondered if Ueda really dared to lie to him, there must be a reason behind that. Finally, Johnny took a conclusion he would know the truth later and let Ueda do what he could for Ryo. Besides that, Johnny found it quite interesting. He would see a different story about the two enemies and who wouldn’t want to see that?

Johnny ended the call then focused at Ueda again. He asked, “Are YOU afraid, Ueda?

Ueda shook his head. He couldn’t think clearly.

“Do YOU love him?” asked Johnny again.

Ueda looked straight at Johnny. He never expected that question to be given to him, or more exactly he never thought he loved Ryo in the first place.

NO! NO! NO! I don’t love him! I hate him! I hate him! I hate him! Ueda screamed again inwardly.

“I really love him,” said Ueda, seriously ignoring his true feelings. He couldn’t believe he said he loved Ryo. He felt he was going to faint or die. It’s the biggest, weirdest thing that ever came out of his mouth. He disgusted himself because he lied about something called love. He was obviously insane now.

Johnny sighed and patted Ueda’s shoulder. He gave him his calm smile. “Do what YOU can. I believe in YOU,” said Johnny and stood up from his chair. “I got to go now.

Ueda stood up too. He said thank you and bowed to Johnny before the older walked away from there. After Ueda couldn’t see Johnny’s figure anymore, he slumped himself helplessly back to his chair. He let out a long sigh and felt that his energy was gone. He grabbed his forgotten iced tea and drank it in one go. He started to feel dizzy and his throat seemed so dry after he let out his entire lie. Remembering his conversation with Johnny a moment ago made him annoyed at himself. He slammed his glass on the table very hard, making a loud noise. He didn’t care about the weird looks that people gave him because he froze as he noticed someone who sat at the table behind Johnny’s chair a while ago. Ueda’s eyes popped open in horror seeing the face of the man who he really knew who he is. Ueda didn’t know since when the latter sat there and he almost screamed his thoughts. If the latter was there since the beginning of his conversation with Johnny, it meant that he heard it and totally knew that he lied to Johnny. Sweat started to flow freely on his forehead and he panicked because he was being caught as he lied. Awwww you’re so dead Tatsuya, insulted his own mind.

Note : Gyaaaaaaaa finally I finished writing this chapter. Woah sorry I am so late for update it because this chapter really made me a little bit stress, hehe. Well the lie is finally out. What do you think about the lie, minna? Oh please try to guess who is the witness of the lie, nee! I really want to know your guess XDD
