Well, I was driving to work today and I saw yet ANOTHER accident. So far the number of accidents I've seen is about 20. This means that I've either seen the impact or have arrived directly after the impact.
Today,I saw the immediate aftermath of a Chevy Trail Blazer that hit the rear end of a parked dump truck. When I got to it, the man was still trapped in the drivers seat, and the front end and side of the truck was DEMOLISHED.
(Notice the front end collision, and NO AIRBAG DEPLOYED)
The fire department crew arrived and had to get out the jaws of life. Well, it was no huge surprise, but they didn't work. They couldn't get the generator started. I couldn't believe my eyes! An emergency crew with gear that didn't work.
Once they finally got the door off of the vehicle, they started YANKING on the guy that was trapped inside. Fortunately an American FireFighter arrived on the scene and stopped these Kuwaiti guys from doing any more damage. What a relief. He started telling the Kuwaiti paramedics the right way to get this guy out without causing more injury.
Finally, they got the guy out...and got him to the hospital.
This is the 4th accident I've seen where a Chevy was involved and the air bags did not deploy. In the United States, Chevy would have a HUGE lawsuit on their hands. When I was in my accident, my air bag did not deploy either. It was a Chevy.
Take my advice. Do not drive a Chevy in Kuwait. I believe they come out of Australia....either way, they are not the same Chevy's that are made in the states. I don't care, because I drive a German car anyway. I would never trust my life to an American car. Much less one of these half assed American pieces of liquid crap.
Shit, I hope I'm not in an accident where I need medical help in this country. They need some SERIOUS TRAINING for their Paramedics and Emergency crews in Kuwait ! ! ! ! ! Number one, how to stabilize human life, and two, how to keep the Jaws of Life and Generators working properly (hint; put gas n the generator, dumbasses!)

Update: The guy died as a result of having sat in the car for nearly an hour after the accident and improper procedures by the emergency crews. Awesome.
