Went to this last night --> www.metalskool.com
...and had a really good time. Metal Skool is basically a comedy troupe; four guys impersonating hair rockers from the 80s. Except they're fantastic musicians to boot and the singer sounds exactly like the guy from Whitesnake. Even though they do these shows every Monday night, the place was packed full of 800+ people in tight pants and lycra. For a brief moment I was sandwiched behind a guy whose shoulder-length hair smelled like a combination of vegetable oil and ass. Once I got away from Mr. Ass-Hair, I enjoyed the show a lot more. God, I hate other people. At least at goth clubs everyone smells like red wine and cloves.
My Favorite Comment of the Night (from the guitarist), after the band got a group of girls to come onstage and dance in sexy sexy ways: "I'm so glad your dad didn't pay attention to you so I get to see your boobs!"
