19. Brisingr by Christopher Paolini. The continuing saga of Eragon and Saphira, his dragon. I enjoyed it every much, it gets a 4. Does anyone know when book 4 comes out?
20. Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. I thought I had read this book, but it turns out I read the biography of Ms Alcott. LOL...Anyhow, I thoroughly enjoyed this book, found myself laughing out loud and sniffing at times. 4
On the home front, everything is splendid! Love my house and am enjoying still not having TV or internet at home....granted there are times when I would like it. But my laundry stays caught up (for the most part) and the dishes don't overflow the sink, so I'm a happy mommy.
My puppies are doing wonderfully. They mostly stay in the yard and even when they wander, it isn't more than 5 minutes away. Doja finished up her round of shots and Gunner got his booster yesterday. Gunner does NOT like to have Doja on the table and whine...he tries to get up there and "save" her. It's very sweet.
School is almost out and the kids are excited. But the girls will be freshmen in the fall, so their summer is already getting filled up with camps and practices for HS sports. UGH, I don't remember doing all that mess when I was kid....why are we trying to make our babies grow up so fast?
Oh! This is the best. Devin has a bet going with her boyfriend. Whoever wins has to take the other to a movie. :-) The bet? Nate bets that Devin can't go an entire week without wearing sport-related clothing. It's wednesday today and she's already broken into her sisters clothes....LOL. We're hoping to borrow something from Summer for Friday because otherwise, she won't be able to do it! I don't know if that's more funny or sad.
