Explosion of a cluttered mind

So back around Christmas, when we were visiting Anothony's family we were given a number of household items; one of which was a very nice dark-colored kitchen table.  It's a square table that seats 8 (when you use the sleeve) and is tall, you need bar-stool height chairs for it.  Well, we got the table but no chairs.  Anyhow, we get the table home and have somehow lost the bolts for the legs. *facepalm*   Last night, I finally broke down and bought 6 chairs for the table.  Nice chairs, required entirely too much assembly, but still nice.  Now, we just need to find the damn bolts for the table! LOL

Don't know if I mentioned it before, but all 3 of my kids tried out for PDL level soccer (ranking from highest to lowest: State, PDL, District, Rec) and all 3 made their respective teams.  The girls team has 16 players and 64 tried out. Spencer's team has 14 players and 29 tried out.  So, if I thought my schedule was busy with regular seasons being Aug-Oct and March-May, then I'm really going to be busy now that regular season is Aug-Dec and Feb-May with 3 required tournaments in the summer. :)

Anyhow, Spencer's last soccer game of the regular season was 3 weeks ago. The girls last basketball games of the season were 2 weeks ago and their last soccer games of the regular season was this past weekend.  Normally, all 3 kids play in a soccer tournament this upcoming weekend, but with the wedding less than 2 weeks away (OMGOMGOMG *dies*) we decided not to let them participate this year.  So, for the first time in as long as I can remember, we have WEEKS with ABSOLUTELY NO KIDS SPORTS!!!!!!  Seriously boggles my mind.  Their next tournament is June 27-29 with practices starting June 3.  So, we have from now until June 3 with NOTHING! I still can't quite believe it.  Well, OK, techinically we've got a wedding and reception in that time, but that should be cake. ;o)

Speaking of weddings! I got my first gift mailed to me today, from my Aunt in Seattle who can't make it.  Very exciting and tempting to open it's pretty bow. :)  Also, went and picked up our marriage license today.  It's being left at my work so I don't lose it or dump kool-aid on it or something.  I'm supposed to get a call from the alterations lady this week too.  It's all coming together, slowly but surely.

In other wedding news, in addition to NOT ONE of my father's family attending, I have also learned that NOT ONE of my mother's family is attending and ONLY one of my step-father's family is attending. (exceptions being my mom, step-dad, brother and sister). My family fucking sucks- that's all there is to it.  I can understand the sick grandparents, and the aunt in Australia and legitimate reasons; but my aunt and uncle in town?...they aren't coming because it's memorial day weekend and that's the only weekend they can get away for vacation.  Um...excuse me, you are both fucking teachers and have 3 fucking months off school; so don't give me that shitass excuse.  If you ever want to know who really cares about you, plan a wedding and watch their responses. :p

Now that I'm on the topic of "Things that annoy the snot outta me" lets make a list:
People who don't use thier blinkers
People who leave their blinkers on for no apparent reason other than to piss me off
Cars that make the blinker sound even when the blinker is not on (*head-dashboard* repeatedly)
People who don't drive as fast as I want them to. :D
The answer "oh, you'll just know" Um...no I won't that's why I fucking asked! Is there actually a question that this is a legitimate answer to? I don't think so!
Assembling 6 chairs and having one of them with a broken leg so I have to take it back, forcing me to assemble 7!
Coaches who think that white uniforms are a good idea for 10-year old boys playing soccer. Then, they add a fucking stripe of green to the damn things so I can't even bleach them. Seriously people...

Yeah, that's about it. I'm in too good a mood for things to really piss me off. :-D

Oh, and road-trip tomorrow!  Good thing Brandi reminded me, or I wouldn't have remembered...which is probably not a good thing since I'm supposed to be driving. Heh, oops.

Hmmm, I feel like I'm forgetting something...oh well.
