Child Molestation and Sexuality

I was thinking the other day that it seems that you hear of a lot more cases of boys being molested than girls and yet I know a lot more women who were abused as children than men... or at least that are open about it ( Read more... )

Oh, as a note, doing a search in Google for news related to "child molest" and a specifix exclusive gender results in a pretty much even distribution of articles. However, something I found a bit disturbing:

"Child Molest Girl -Boy": 7,100 results
"Barely Legal Pussy": 343,000 results

Admittedly, these stats are a bit misleading as there are a number of variables here (such as word selection and exclusion parameters) but I nonetheless found that creepy.

also, something you almost never hear about is a woman sexually molesting a young girl. at least, i've never heard it. maybe that says a lot about men in general.

Interesting thing that is very seldom pointed out is that homosexuality occurs in several species of animals. I understand that with humans, we're looking at social factors and that many people don't readily see any sort of social hierarchy in the animal kingdom (though it does exist).

Anyway, male lion cubs practice mating with one another before moving out into the pride...which kind of fascinates me, and parallels in some ways the "experimental" stage of sexual maturation in humans. But the thing that always gets me is that many different classifications of primates participate in homosexual as well as heterosexual unions...PLUS...they often participate in orgies.

So...yeah, homosexuality occurring in nature, yada yada yada...but it's not just that, it's the idea of animals engaging in sex for pleasure. I suppose that birds do it. And bees do it. And hell, even educated fleas do it...(not to mention dolphins).

You know, it's funny: I didn't click on it as I just assumed I knew what it was (out of context). And, in fact, it was.

This reminds me...
