Good news: I finally managed to pay off my tuition from last year, thus unlocking my access back into DigiPen and allowing me to enroll in classes for Fall Semester.
Bad News: I failed a class.
WTF? This is an error I hope I can resolve quickly. I finished and posted my final project into what I believed to be the 'post final project here' spot on the teacher's site. Apparently it was the 'post final project here and I'll review it and you post the final final project over there'. So by the time the teacher and I got back and forth about 'where is your project?' 'it's in the spot where I posted it' 'Where is your project' 'It's right where I was supposed to post it' 'It's not there' 'Yes here it is' 'Oh, post it here' 'ok' >posts it in right place three days after the final cutoff date, subsequently gets a failing grade for the semester<
... I had it turned in on time. It's marked with a time and date. This was not late. I will have to contest this and see what happens.
Good news: I got a couple thousand dollars in federal grant moneys.
Bad news: I will likely wind up owing a good thirty to forty thousand dollars in loans upon graduation.
Good news: I got all registered for classes, without any prereqs being messed up by the failing grade.
Bad news: I'm stuck once again with mostly the 9am classes since I couldn't register when everyone else did.
Good news: I like school
Bad news: 21 credit hours now stare me in the face. Gonna be a long semester.
