Just Let Me Breathe
Talk about stressed out.
Last week, what I remember of it, was horrible. Between school, Gamma Beta Phi and other crap I was one stressed out motha...I'mma shut my mouth. I never realized how much people can get on my nerves. This is about to turn into a rant about Gamma Beta Phi. Let me just say that the executive board, which I am sadly a member of, is completely disorganized. The President doesn't do much of anything, the VP is MIA from the meetings due to his job (however he still manages to do the majority of his duties), the treasurer is a lazy bastard who doesn't do his job for shit and the rest of the executive board (the Historian, Public Relations and Community Service) are decent considering they have pretty much nothing to work with. I'm secretary and all last week I was acting as President and treasurer. Can someone tell me why? It's ridiculous. Everytime someone has a question, people ask me. True, it's my e-mail address everyone has access to, but I give the President's e-mail address in almost every e-mail I send and I'm still the one who gets the e-mails. It's one of those issues that I need clarity on. I was going to re-run for my position next year, but you know what...
My classes are going as well as can be expected. I haven't messed up drastically in any one of them yet. The only hell I'm suffering is the fact that I have four labs. I hate lab write ups. By time you finish one, it's time for another one to be due.
Hmm, this entry is going to be shorter than I thought. I need to go to bed. I have a department majors meeting tomorrow at 10 so I need to make sure I'm up in time to make it there in time. Not to mention I have to go appeal a $60 parking ticket. Yes, a parking ticket. I forgot (the first time ever mind you) to put my parking permit up in my windshield and I got a $60 ticket for apparently forgetting to register my vehicle. First of all, my vehicle is registered. Now, I have to go and talk to the campus Po-Pos tomorrow and see if I can get this thrown out. Since my car is officially registered I don't see why they wouldn't drop the fine. Besides, I do NOT have $60 at this moment to pay it. All I can say is that if they still make me pay the fine I'm going to be pissed off. I just forgot to put the permit in my windshield. Isn't everyone allowed one mistake?! This is another reason why I hate Pembroke. Screw the fact that the campus is dark as hell at night and the fact that people are running around acting stupid, that doesn't matter. But if you are parked in the wrong spot/don't have your permit in your window, you're public enemy number 1. I'm so ready to get out of this hell hole.
