I saw a fairytale today, a movie, Stardust. It told its story very well, surprised me over and again, had me rapt, happy, afraid, and romantic while not leaving me uncomfortable once. Nothing about the film seemed forced, and while I've not looked to be critical, I didn't set out to be so overwhelmingly positive about it, either.. It has not been a spectacular hit at the boxoffice, but if you can still see it in the theater, I think it will be appreciated.
I'd also like to thank
Paka for wishing me a happy birthday - I didn't get to respond quickly, so I'm doing so here. :)
Illumnina and
mmsword were awesome friends during my birthday travels, as well, and though I've said it to each, I had a great time at home and in Atlantic City alike! Here's hoping my luck transfers to both of you, and I get to see you sooner than later, okay? I miss you all already!
I also miss and love my family.. but at the same time, I am at home, back in Washington, even if I can be at home there, too.
Anyone I've not talked to here in a while, please do send a line, if you'd like to talk! I still like all of you, even if I am a quiet thing sometimes. :)
