It's nice to be back
It's been so long since I've been here, but it feels like coming home. I haven't had access to LJ in so long, it might take me a while before I remember how to do cuts and such.
What's happened up until now? Why have I been gone? Good questions.
I went back to college to get my BS/BA and was hoping that would allow me to leave my job as a bus driver and to pursue a career in business.....I was wrong. My second college degree has pretty much put me $50k in the hole and I still have the same job. I went through a major life event back in January that required a 12 day stay in ICU. I'm feeling better on the whole, but there are things I have to deal with on a daily basis that go hand in hand with my medication. I was forced to move back in with my parents, my sister, and her three kids after being out on my own for a while, so that's also not great..but at the same time it's good because I missed them.
So where am I now? I want to blog. Specifically I want to blog about video games and other things that appeal to me. Maybe I'll be able to start writing again, maybe some more fan fiction...no idea. Baby steps. One day at a time. You know the lingo.
Anyway, I hope everyone is doing okay and I really hope to see some familiar people or some new people.
