FINISHED MY EDITING! *DOES A DANCE OF WIN*
And yeah, okay, I still have something like... three books to read and an appendix to write even without getting shit back on Monday, BUT I FINISHED MY EDITING. *DANCE*
Spent most of the rest of the day knitting and reading badfic - well, chapters of a badfic, this one is long and while I got close a couple of times (mainly due to knowing the tropes that were about to come up; they have yet to be as horribly done as I assumed they'd be, yay) - I've not given up on it yet. Have two squares worth of knitting! The second square isn't as pretty as the first. =/ Siiigh. But, this is the thing about learning.
ALSO I finally finished the next bit of the asexual!Isa 'verse. It's short, but I went through a 'asdkj my writing is shit' phase, so that's why it took a while. Need to look at it with a fresh head and get it beta'd, but will probably post it tomorrow or Sunday.
3 - For each of the fandoms from day two, what were your favorite characters to write?
- Pokémon. I actually almost entirely wrote OCs. Pokémon is kind of all about that, you know? I love writing dropout!Roxas, though, he's fun, and actually a decent guy underneath it all. Not all of my Roxas (Roxases?) are.
- Didn't write enough CCS to really have a favourite.
- Ditto Bleach and Detective Conan, again.
- Yuugiou: Bakurae. Just. Bakurae. (This should be obvious.) I like Bakura Ryou and Thief King Bakura better than The Other Bakura, but hey. <3<3<3<3 Bakurae~~
- xxxHolic: Watanuki. Yuuko is by far the most awesome of the characters, but she's terrifying to write. And I don't enjoy terror. I haven't written much Doumeki, but I think I'd quite like writing him; his sort of intense/zen (no, really. Doumeki~ <3) is great, though I think the very end of the series did him a bit of a disservice. Of course, I think the end of the series did EVERYONE a disservice, so there's that.
- Zelda: I've only really written Link, so.
- Kingdom Hearts: Roxas! I love writing Roxas, not that anyone's surprised. Also Sora! He's just fun, even if his run-on sentences are kind of insane. (Yes, they're on purpose. I do know they're there; that lightly-breathless too-long sense run-ons give is actually supposed to be a characterisation point.)
I also really love writing Eraqus! That surprised the hell out of me, but aww, man, Eraqus~ <3 You keep on being your awesome self. Though slightly less blinkered would be nice.
I've written a bit of Aqua, but I'm not sure I've posted any. She's great, too. And Ven, obviously!
And Isa! Isa was another one that blindsided me. I didn't want to like Isa. I didn't hate him because of what he becomes, but I was anticipating having a cordial but distant relationship with him. Yeah, not so much. Ended up playing him in the HSAU, for some reason or another, and he and his stupid adorable face, and his severely fucked up issues just. Fuck. *GIVES HIM ALL THE HUGS*
Despite having written him a
hardmode, among other things, I don't really like writing Axel. I mean, Axel is fantastic! But his head is all twisty in a way I find really difficult to understand. I can usually get him to work for me via 'well Roxas is doing this, so...', but that works best when Roxas is the PC and Axel a major NPC, if you know what I mean.
I might have forgotten someone, but I'm not sure. That's a lot, anyway, so! *snerk*
...this song would probably make a great vid, if there was enough footage from 358/2 Days. But I really don't think there is, without wayheaps repetition, which - and I don't actually watch vids, so I could be wrong here - would be boring.
