First week and a day...
So, it's been a full week and day at my new job. I have to say that I've had to hit the ground running and it feels like I'm supposed to start flying any minute now. I've pretty much done 10+ hour days on average and feeling pretty exhausted but as the saying went during the early years of doing Animag, "it's a good kind of tired."
Even though it was a hell of a drive, I drove back up north to see Trish and Hajime over the weekend and it was good...even though it was hard all over again to leave them...
Today, I ended up working a 11 1/2 hour day but one of the shows I was assigned was severely behind schedule at the point of its announcement at NYCC two weekends ago. I mean announced in April with a street date in July? o.O Thankfully, I've got a lot of help to make it happen. I'm already scheduled to do my first con at the end of the month in San Jose. If you're going to be at Fanime, stop by the booth or panel(s).
