Hello Everyone,
Our trip to Charleston was rough. We had to sit all day at MUSC Hospital with four kids, but we survived. Tyler’s heart test was good. He had all his blood work done.
He held that little arm out and didn’t cry at all this time. Ever other time we had to fight him. I guess he’s growing up. We were told that the radiation treatments had cause damage and that Tyler’s not going to grow like he should, and that he is going to have to see a doctor here and be put on medication that he will have to take the rest of his life.
My boy went on a plane to Maryland and this is the first time I haven’t gone with him in seven years. My doctor didn’t think I should go so I’m home with Nathan. Jayden stayed with his dad.
Ashley called and said that they were picked up in a great big white limo and taken to the Ronald MC Donald house. She said that they were so nice to her and Tyler and that baby Ethan didn’t like the plane and cried all the way. Poor Ethan.
Ashley said that the limo would pick them back up when they are ready to come home. I told her to get pictures! Thank you flight of hope; you all have been wonderful. You sure made this thing a lot easier for Tyler and our family.
I want to thank all the folks at the Howling Wolf Bar & Grille for all that they have been doing to help out. You all have also been just awesome. Thank you for caring about Tyler and our family.
Then their is Tyler’s birthday on Saturday. Leeann has set up a little party with birthday cake and I will furnish the drinks on Sunday. We were hoping to have chicken wings, because that is what Tyler had asked for, but Leeann didn’t get enough funds for that. But that’s okay, he will still enjoy it. He’s had so many good things for his birthday he will be smiling!
Steven has sent him a play station 3 and games. Thank you Steven! I know Tyler will be so happy. You are God-sent and have stuck with us the whole way. I know your family must thank God for you each day. What a caring person you are. There is just not enough words to tell you how grateful we are!
Thank each of you for all the cards. Thank each of you for your love and support. Your prayers are working. Know that we are grateful and that we love you all.
Please say a prayer for TyTy. He’s come a long way but still has so much more to go through.
