Say what you like, *I* love the Petrellis.
I finally caught up with all of Heroes to date. And I still love it. I actually love it a lot. I actually have fic-in-progress for it! Not the best of recommendations, since I have fic-in-progress for all of my fandoms, but...I feel hopeful about this one?
The weird thing about Heroes is that I don't have an OTP. Normally I associate my love of fandom with my love of a pairing--and it's not that I'm not drawn to any Heroes pairings, because I totally am. It's that I'm drawn to all of them. I still love Sylar/Mohinder! But I also love Sylar/Peter, and Sylar/Claire. And Matt/Mohinder, and Peter/Nathan, and Peter/Claire, and Sylar/Elle, and Sylar/Luke. And I'll even read stuff beyond that, like Nathan/Matt even. It's like any combination of the main characters (excepting Noah, because I have dad associations with him and that's never a good thing, and any of Ali Larter's characters because ugh), is just awesome to me.
Which is just weird. Normally I'm such an OTP shipper that reading fic where Kirk loves someone else more than Spock makes my skin crawl, (although I don't have a problem with canon Spock/Uhura. huh.) So not minding mixing and matching like this just feels unnatural. I like it, though.
The thing I have in progress looks like it's going to be Sylar/Peter with a heavy emotional side of Peter/Nathan. The notes I have scribbled down for a potential second thing-in-progress is Sylar/Claire with emotionally important sides of Sylar/Mohinder, Sylar/Elle, Claire/Elle, onesided!Claire/Peter, and Claire/Gretchen. I have absolutely no idea what that says about me. (Maybe that I think the Petrellis and all who wish they were Petrellis are really big hos, I don't know.)
With that musing out of the way, have a dirty Peter/Sylar vid rec. I haven't been able to stop looking at this in the last...oh, ever.
