So much for the I'm-not-going-to-post-for-awhile thing. It is Thursday night, meaning I can stay up until about 4 in the morning as I only have class from 1-2 tomorrow. I already read some Shakespeare tonight too, so I feel like I've been good. Still have my chapter of US History to do but I have FOUR BLOODY HOURS. So I found another survey and wow, shockingly I feel like doing it.
Today, did you...
1. Talk to someone you liked: yes, but not in the italic sense
2. Buy something: no
3. Get sick: I certainly hope not
4. Sang: Yes (blushing) but only in the privacy of my own room
5. Thought about someone you cared about: Always
6. Cried: no, thank the gods
7. Got in trouble: no. . . today was pretty dull, actually, hence the survey
8. Talk to an ex: don't have any
9. Miss someone: yes
Last person who....
10. Slept in your bed: me? is that the wrong answer?? I don't think any of my friends have slept in my bed. . .Jay slept on my floor
11. Saw you cry: the Bunch (Michael, Nichole, Katie, Shubha, Mike, Callie) at Brokeback Mountain
12. Made you cry: probably Will (but not that he meant to do it)
13. Went to the movies with? the Bunch (see above)
14. You went to the mall with: my mom (if Gilroy Outlets count as the mall; if they don't, Nichole and Shubha)
Have you ever....
15. Said "I Love You" and meant it: yes, but never to a guy who wasn't related to me
16. Ever been in a fight with your pet: my little Bubba-girl?? naaaaah
17. Been to California: whenever I'm not at school! yay for Norcal!!!
18. Been to Mexico: no
19. Been to Canada: no, to my deep and abiding sorrow
20. Been to Europe: not yet, but I'm going this June with Melissa to LONDON and Paris!!!! During the World Cup!!!
21. Do you have a crush on someone: yup, both of the celebrity and normal type, but all are equally unattainable
22. What book are you reading now: that would have to be plural--Unforgivable Blackness, Complete Works of Shakespeare, Great Baseball Writing, and The Glory and the Dream
23. Best feeling in the world: when you emerge from Oakland's dark concourse, surrounded by your friends, into the bright sunlight and look at the beautiful green field and see Tigers stretching down there
24. Future kids names: I don't really like kids. . . but either Brad or Steve (since the kid is fictional, it's a boy; better chance of it liking sports that way)
25. Do you sleep with a stuffed animal: yup, his name is Nick Murphy (he's a floppy dog, not a person; my mom wanted to name him Nick after the cuddly A's security guard, and my dad wanted to name him Murph after the Giants' clubhouse man, Mike Murphy; I love my parents!)
26. What's under your bed: my ladder, carry-on, Dr. Pepper, six pounds of gummy spiders, my orange down comforter, books from last semester, all my saved issues of the Michigan Daily with my articles in them (for clips, should I need them later)
27. Favorite sports to watch: Baseball, hockey, rugby, real football, American football, men's gymnastics
28. Location right now: Ann Arbor, the most wonderful college town in the entire universe
29. Piercing/Tattoos: one in each ear, and that's all I'm ever gonna have
30. What are you most scared of: dying alone, something bad happening to someone I love
31. Where do you want to get married? in a baseball stadium (depending on which is still standing and who I marry, either Oakland Coliseum, PacBell Park, or Wrigley Field)
32. Who do you really hate?: the Yankees, Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, arrogant bandwagoning dirty ChiSox fans, asshole Buckeye fans who only sent hate-mail to Daily sports columnists AFTER the Big Game because they were chicken, Randy Smith (he traded Brad Ausmus twice). . . wow, I really should stop now, huh.
33. Do you have a job: Well, I don't get paid, but the Daily is my beloved wondrous job. Yay Men's Gym!!!
34. Do you like being around people: some people. . . others, not so much
35. Have you ever liked someone you didn't have a chance with: every time
36. Have you ever cried: yes, mostly at movies or my favorite books
37. Are you lonely right now: yes
38. Song that's stuck in your head right now?: I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow
39. Played strip poker: no, although I would love to do so with some hot baseball players
40. Gotten beaten up: not really. . . I got my ass kicked many a time in Tae Kwon Do sparring classes, but not in a permanent-bruising kind of way
42. Been on radio/tv: TV when Dad and I brought the gigantic Happy Birthday Brad! sign to PacBell; radio when I called into KFRC when they were interviewing Barry Zito in 2002 and I asked him what he thought of Mark Redman (who was still with the Tigers, and who Zito was scheduled to pitch against that night)
43. Been in a mosh-pit: no, thankfully, and I hope I never am
44. Ever liked someone, but u think they never noticed you?: yup, of course
