Another Luverly Day with a hint of freeze
Freezing day. Spent the day touring sheds to show our newest member what armour is available, clothing etc.
Took the dogs for a paddock walk. Lucky Ruby's a fast mover as she tried to make friends with a Clydesdale & came close to receiving a kick in the head for her trouble!
Invited to stay for awesome tasting, home grown chicken soup with cheese scones followed by rhubarb & apple crumble - also from their garden & scrumptious. Am wondering if I threaten our own chooks with such a dire end, that they might decide to start laying again. Seriously dislike the moulting period. However their feather have begun to grow back so am hoping that any day now...
Back home to start yet another fire. It's been a relaxing lovely day. I could get used to this... especially as I seem to be getting personal projects knocked over too...
Tomorrow is workshop day - lots of de-spruing brass cast objects, followed by a polishing.
