I HAVE A JOB INTERVIEW!!!!!
Okay, I'm done bouncing now. Well, not quite. but I'll try to be good. I have been in panic mode for the last few days, as we're nor without unemployment benefits, and the possibility of losing all that we've worked so hard for was becoming very real. I am picky, though, about a lot of things, one of them being where I'll work. I won't do fast-food, and I won't work in a tech support call center again. So I was struggling to find something.
I hit CareerBuilder.com recently, and have been applying for a couple of jobs every couple of days. Mostly office stuff, stuff I know I can easily do, and that'll give me more experience should I continue it. It's been a while since I worked in an office environment, but it doesn't change that much, you know?
So now I'm plotting my wardrobe for tomorrow, completely unhappy because my wedding rings don't fit unless I want to cut off the circulation to my finger. I was going to try to get my hairdresser to style my perfectly bone-straight hair, but she won't be in. So .. pooh. Is this a good time to mention I've never really had to interview for a job, thus have never learned how to handle it?
