A prescription for the omeprazole since it works and will be cheaper this way, plus a blood test and stool sample collection to check for H. Pylori. If negative, endoscopy, since symptoms are numerous and persistent and probably deserve a specialist's attention. I thought there were blood tests for H. Pylori, but I guess even if there is a direct test is more reliable.

I had a dual scope procedure back in July (colonoscopy and esophago-gastroscopy). I was anxious before, but the "conscious sedation" drugs were sufficiently potent that I remember nothing of the procedure and was apparently pretty entertaining immediately afterward.

I hope it doesn't turn out to be anything too bad.
