Thanks are in order!

I have to write this down here, because there's no way that it would fit into a single tweet.

I'm here to profess my sincerest and most heartfelt gratitude to Glendon Mellow and Kevin Hearne. Without these two awesome individuals, I would not be in the creative mindset that I'm currently in.

Glendon Mellow, creator of Trilobite Boy and maintainer of his own blog as well as Symbiartic: The art of science and the science of art, asked a few Sundays ago for some art that he could put up in a post. I replied with a link to one of my older pieces that is residing in my dA gallery (link in the sidebar; please browse) and he thanked me with what came across as a cheerful smile hidden in the words.
It is because of my replying to him that earned me this awesome moment for my life as an artist. He published it in the Symbiartic blog in SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN. Not only was I floored that he chose to post my piece, but also humbled by the fact that an artist I admire and am inspired by relinked my work to the masses.
Thank you Glendon! I am continually amazed and awed and flattered by you relinking my work to others. I don't think I can thank you enough for it, but I'll most certainly try.

Kevin Hearne, in all of his awesomeness, has a spectacular website and book series. I highly recommend the Iron Druid Chronicles to anyone who's up for a new set of books or just something different to read. The dialogue between characters alone is beyond priceless--seriously people, read his books! And even better? HE LIVES HERE IN ARIZONA. *does the Snoopy happy dance*
I did some fan-art for him, based on his description of the Morrigan and my own thoughts on the matter of that particular Mother/Goddess/being, which can also be found in my dA (again, the link is in the sidebar) and he not only liked it, but put a link to it on his facebook page. That resulted in a massive influx of people looking at the piece and me having a moment of "holy irish carbombs!"(tm) right before I spent several minutes grinning like an idiot.
Thank you Kevin! You continually make my day when you reply to my comments (even if I feel rather silly for asking/saying them at times) and I'm really looking forward to TRICKED!

It is moments like this that I remind myself of when my days at work are really bad. To know that my work is appreciated by people who are better known than myself is not just humbling but also heart-warming.
