We have a new contender for "Best Aspect of the Job"
Today I got to go out and see the set up for a test they were doing for one of the upcoming launches. Everything was half-assembled and strewn about the bay floor, but it was all recognizable. The significant thing is that that specific hardware was the focus of my very first analysis (and one of my current ones) and it was really cool getting to see it up close.
If I got to go out and look at that stuff on a regular basis, it would be a close contender for the #1 spot. But I don't do quite the kind of work that justifies going out there on a regular basis.....and if I did, I would be terrified of breaking something....none the less, going out today helped to brighten an otherwise mediocre day.
You know what, much as I love the concept of Warlock Engineers, this avatar just isn't quite popping for me. I think I might try Ironman after all.
