First post from new home
I moved today.
It was a lot of work, and there's still a lot of stuff at my mom's house. Also, this room is really messy and unorganized, so there'll still be a lot to do tomorrow. But at least I have my bed and my desk here, as well as my computers. I didn't get online with my desktop. I believe it has a wireless network card (do they even sell desktops without those anymore?), but I can't figure out how to get it to work. I've been using cable my entire life, it's almost sad changing.
The room is really nice. It's supposedly smaller than my last one, but it feels much bigger, even with all the mess. There's also more shelf-space, yay! The house itself is also great, and with only me and my dad, I doubt it'll feel small. It's almost a shame I'll only spend about three months here (OMG, only three months until June? :O).
Plan for tomorrow: move the rest of the stuff, alphabetize my anime and manga, get my movies into the shelf, get posters and lightsabers up on the wall, and explore the surroundings enough to find my way to the bus Monday morning. What a great way to spend the weekend. :/
