Pouncer update.
We had a good day with the cat. The feeding tube at least makes getting fluids and meds into her easier. And she eats like a pig after she gets the Valium. For some reason it gives a cat the munchies. But i want to see her gain weight damn it. Right now she is a walking skeleton in a fur coat. And a moth eaten fur coat at that.
I have lactated ringers I can use by poking through her skin and giving sub cue. But sometimes I do not know I have poked through the cat till the fluids come spouting out the other side.And after a trip to the pet store I have about 2 dozen different cans of cat food in sets of 2 as I do not want to get stuck with a ton of one flavor when she decides not to eat "that one" this week.
What I do not get is how she can loose all this weight and be such a mess almost over night, but it will take weeks/months to build her back up.
And now off to drug and feed the cat.
