World is a little bit smaller than I thought....
Tomorrow I get to pick the Wench up from work and we are going out to celebrate her birthday.[she will be 25, I do not even remember being that young] And we are going out Rollerskating. Which I do not think I have done in at least 20 years if not longer. The funny part is I am really looking forward to it

Some where in this world, (I suspect East Texas) there was a vortex that drew together a ton of people so that when looked at over time, they would all know someone who knows someone else, who knows that person you are talking about. :)

TRUE STORY: Grandmother and Grandfather were horse people, and traveled a great deal. Grandfather was a horse show judge for many many years, and showed horses at many shows, in addition he was a Blacksmith which meant that he was needed by the horse community....
10 years after they stopped going to anything but local shows.
My Mom took us out to West Nebraska to visit a tourist trap / summer camp / dude-ranch thing. We are 200 miles from Gma / Gdad's place in the middle of no where. And we had made a comment about how Granddad and Grandmother knew everyone in the state.
My Mother (she should have known better) looks up and sees a small town off the freeway (no exit just can see it across a field) and comments "Well dear, it really only seems that way. They don't know everyone, for example in that town over there."
So of course my Grandmother interupts and says "Well, actually..." "Even you (talking to my Mom) know someone in that town. Your Uncle (can't remember) lives there"
I started laughing, and don't remember the next two hours as we finished that trip :)
So Remember two things...
1) The person you step on today, WILL be someone you need later, so don't grind in the heal as you go by.
2) Anything you ever say bad about someone, WILL eventually get back to them. The message will be garbled, but your name will still be attached.
