I'm so glad you liked the banner! I wanted to have one for this fic because the players aren't that well-known, but my manipping skills are rather poor so I spent hours on this (and the shadow on Javier's face drove me insane)...

I loved the Barrios fic! You did tell me that you wrote two separate fics originally, but I LOVED the way you put them into one. It really doesn't show at all if one doesn't know it! But hey, if you're really not satisfied with it (though I wouldn't understand why) you can always split the fics again and finish them separately now if you want! :)

It's such a relief for me that this story didn't seem forced or awkward. I was trying hard not to pick any of the usual scenarios (a transfer, a match, a random scene in which they are friends), and since I couldn't find any information about them having played for Argentina together (Pastore was part of the World Cup squad, but Fazio has only played the Olympic Games), I had to come up with something new. I'm glad you liked that!

I'm also glad to hear the characterizations worked for you! I don't really know much about either player (less about Fazio than about Pastore), but Javier comes across as shy and reserved to you too, then we can't be too wrong! XD It's totally the impression I got of him when I looked at some pictures. Fazio, on the other hand, is adorable but must know how sexy he is. It took me ONE PICTURE to realise that, and that was even before I found this one:
